has the potential to be a far better president than Clinton. That's the bottom line!

Ok.......and I ask this sincerely:

What gives you the impression about the-man that indicates he has the potential t be a better Prez than Hillary??Ya see a part of YT is a rebel....... and would like to see the establishment shaken up a bit. I have no problem with that. But it still has to b e done with planning and intelligence and organizational talent.

What concerns me is that-he is so invested in doing it HIS way , he cannot be objective or accept the facts as they are presented to him. Personally I think he is far too reactive .......knee jerk reactions........ in behavior and via his Twitter commentary. He does not think things through. He seems to be so used to having his way and doing things impulsively that the habits continue in the role that requires much more thought and nuance. IMHO

I HOPE he is able to mature into the role and realize he is there not for his own ego but for the population of the US and that he is in the role of service to the country. Not to relish on-some perceived status. for the same of the country and world in general. but does he have the grit to undo some bad habits and really learn about the role he is in.

So far he looks like he is flying blind....

[QUOTEYou might be right about Clinton. But I doubt that her first 80 days would be such a fiasco.] [/QUOTE]

Agree!! Suspect it would have been a smooth transition , organized etc as she has the experience. there are times where experience is critical.......... and in this role........ self explanatory. No one negates that she came with issues. But so did the Donald.

Perhaps the Trump supporters were just bored with efficiency , organization , and the ability to articulate well for home consumption as well as on the world stage. She is a pretty classy , and very smart lady. Not without baggage.......... but sometimes one has to decide just how important the baggage is in the bigger picture of things.

and it is not like Donald didn't come with a truckload of baggage

First Breezy says....

Trump.......Syria. What will he do , if anything;ng after the barbaric chemical attack on civilians.

Trump says chemical attack in Syria crossed many lines | Reuters

Then this...

spot on about the lack of hard evidence as to who actually did it. this is why the UN wanted to do an investigation , gather the evidience and bring the responsible to justice . The way it should be done.

the problem of Trum[s credibility looms large.

Was the strike so urgent that it had to hapen during his dinner meeting with the Chinese leader??

There is something else gong on here...
Lets not forget : he is a master manipulator.
He has not even got his staff organized and running smoothly. .......... this is quite a diversion. Is he playing games ??There is nothing cohesive abou;t his "strategy" or is that the intent??

Bigly

Hypocrite

Trump is being selective in responding to the so called Chem attack. ( where no one know exactly who did it and the investigation is not complete ) while being very tolerant of the humongous number and variety of war horrors to humanity taking place.

First you say it is a "barbaric chemical attack on civilians" and now you say it is a "so called" chemical attack.

Zero cred

THE problem in Trumps white house is DONALD-TRUMP.

.The Trouble With Trump

and a new set of infighting is in progress .. This is not governing ..it is bloody soap opera .......and a BAD one at that.

Now that he has tasted using the military option........... we can probably expect more such decision by the lead character in this really bad soap opera.

Hopefully the other players have the reason and sense to counter this unpredictable lead character. Using the element of surprise has value. Not the issue. The issue is the unpredictable person at the helm. Strength comes with stability., calm and sound judgement.

Keeping your enemies off balance and guessing isn't a bad MOT either. He certainly has you and the rest of the nut bars pissing and moaning.

I expected the first few months of the Trump administration to be chaotic largely because Trump is an iconoclastic figure to begin with AND because his modus operandi is .. Shoot, Ready, Aim. There is very little programmatic methodology to Trump, but i still see a underlying philosophical integrity.

That's taken a hit because the Syria thing is a contradiction to his nationalist and populist platform. I doubt that there was an Assad directed chemical attack, and i suspect the regime's opponents might have orchestrated the charade.

But what is more troubling is Trump seems to have reacted to the Establishment witchhunts with regard to Russia, with an attack that had little forethought as to consequences or context within a wider policy framework for the Middle East. The only sure thing is that Regime Change has failed catastrophically in every country it has been imposed on in the region. It is responsible for ISIS, failed states, civil wars, global terrorism, floods of refugees. The same will happen again in Syria.

I don't trust his flakey Son in Law Jared Kushner who is a consumate Democratic, post structural, globalist, free market, pro Israel chauvinist. He is a NeoLiberal junior executive.. peer dependent and convention seeking. And i see Steve Bannon being systematically marginalized.

If Trump doesn't get a hold of his agenda and get back to his roots, he'll become just another mediocre failed President as EVERY President for the last 5 decades has been. It's sink or swim time for The Donald.

The Establishment of both Parties are attaching anchors to his feet, and want to see him fail and Syria was a case in point. At least he got Neil Gorsuch onto the USSC, over the radical feminist, homosexual, eco lobbies' oppostion. Its the one success of his admin so far.

At least we don't have to wonder how the rest of his one and only term will go. I wonder if America will even exist at that time?
