Why does Trudeau dawdle when benefits of Cannabis control go to the evil side?

Cannabis is a medical issue as addiction is a medical condition.

Education of how to use drugs intelligently is a main feature of our Royal Commission Report on drugs.

Cannabis will employ many and the revenue would go to our debt.

You might want to rethink the issues involved in our useless drug war against our own children.

Apparently people who need it for medicinal purposes already have access to it. It doesn't work for everybody. My neighbour has rheumatoid arthritis & it didn't do a thing for her. She's on morphine instead. As far as the revenue gleaned going toward the debt I have a mile of water front near Tuktoyaktuk you're welcome to.

Well I had something confirmed today that I predicted the day he was elected P.M. and I stated on here at the time. That the debt would just keep spiraling downhill from that day forth. Like father like son. :)

Why does everyone think it's some big cash cow?

Cannabis is the most energy intensive crop known to mankind.

There is nothing green about the green and it makes little green.

At 14 bucks a gram they want better than street price. Who, in any sort of headspace, is going to pay $420 for an ounce of "legal" weed when you can get it from the place upstreet for two hundred?

Gangster game. Pretty Boy's gotta fuddle someone's duddle and still look pretty afterward....

I'm surprised his government didn't do something to further legalization until I thought about it. It is still early in his mandate. Trigger issues like this are best left until re-election time is looming. Grab the votes when everyone starts questioning his record as PM. Kind of like Wynne lowering electricity rates in Ontario to shore up Liberal support here. Election is next year.

Social manipulation and control is what politics is all about.
Politician give sales people a bad name as most sales people are more up front and honest.

Yes. A debt that we are passing up to our children.

Nothing quite like building a country on the backs of our children.

Strange that pushers are killing each other for such little green.

NOt many killings over pot. Stronger drugs with better markup maybe. Of course if they were all legal and sold in stores there would be no incentive for crime.

Yes.
Do you not watch the news on occasion?

Exactly.
That is a large part of what legalization will eliminate. Crimes that should have never been a crime.

Our drug war has been targeting our own kids for a long time now.

Anyone want to speculate what the net gain of pot legalization will be five years from now? I'll go out on a limb and say zero or less! The man is an idiot! :) :)

A lot fewer of our kids with jail records, less pushers dead, and if world stats are matched, a lot fewer of our citizens addicted to all drugs.
