Over the years, the purpose of marriage has changed somewhat. We mostly marry for love.......How is love expressed? Mostly through mutual pleasure in the sex act. How long would a marriage last without mutual exchange of love and pleasure?? However, even with the birth control methods available these days, there have been failures in all methods. How about you just don't have sex..... then you won't get pregnant...
and don't bother with the "rape" argument, the incidences of abortion because of rape is very very very low.
No they are not!!All babies unwanted are wanted by others.
Are you sure your parents wanted you?
There is no food shortage or moral people willing to raise a child whose parents and entire lineage is incapable of raising just one more child after millions of years of doing so.
Are you of said inferior stock and incapable?
Would you be happier if failures at life and caring for another life were paid for the babies they are genetically unable to care for?
My word, with people with your attitude, don't you think we are already starting where we must?? There are always those who seek to inflict their ideas on others. So not really.Should we start aborting the babies in foreign nations where it's still illegal?
Where did I suggest anything like allowing any regime to bomb other countries?? Bombing an army of children is not a useful solution. In a democracy, what a government does, is generally supposed to be by the choice of the people they were elected by.Are you suggesting the US allow the Saudi Regime to use bigger and better bombs on funerals and hospitals??
Take away poverty and you get your wish yet that option never seems to even make it to the table. There is enough money in the world is hoarding is frowned on, so far it seems to be the only goal people with money have. More money in the general public and the cheaper everything is. Is it a tad strange that there are enough machetes for all the men in Africa yet they have to go to war in sandles or bare feet, I doubt that was their choice.
Thanks for your honesty,You are correct. It was put forth.
My word, with people with your attitude, don't you think we are already starting where we must?? There are always those who seek to inflict their ideas on others. So not really.
Our government representatives have been encouraging all nations to extend individual rights in all areas. Donations of birth control pills and speaking out about giving sons and daughters the right to choose their own mates. Or more specifically, abandoning the practice of forced marriages. Stop the burning of wives, after receiving their doweries, Killing of sons and daughters when they run away to marry someone of their own choice. Refrain from stoning or killing adulterers. Shall I go on??
As a nation we must practice what we preach and not force our standards on others who have not reached a place where they can accept such change.
A foreign government can only suggest such changes, perhaps with minor rewards and punishments, to help improve standards .
Taking away a childhood, by giving 8 & 10 year olds guns and turning them into soldiers is a terrible thing , but happens. That is what some countries under a terrorist regime do. It is not acceptable in our country but short of declaring war and slaughtering those armies, there seems no decent way to interfere.
In the end it is all about allowing choice but there is no harm in suggesting it would be a happier world if all people had a bit of choice in their daily lives. .

My friend, had a child after a tubal ligation in her late forties. There was no choice back then re abortion. The child was born as a hydrocephalic. Having such a child at that age, took a great toll on the family.
Now, in Canadian news today, a teen age girl is under arrest, for killing her baby and in Canada, an Indian band system in Sask. is accused of not following up on a new born in a family of 8 siblings, who died of bronchial pneumonia. It seems it was already a problem in the family, caring for the 8 children already in existence, when the 9th came along. Both those babies, one born to a delinquent teenager and the other to an already too large a family to care for another new-born.
Putting a guilt trip on women and their families by saying all life is sacred caused untold harm. One teenager up for murder, and the other family believed to be neglectful.
In my opinion, all options should be available to the choice of the one person who will bear the burden of said pregnancy and the consequences. It serves nothing to try and control a future mother's choice of how to handle HER situation.
Before you spout off, you might take time to do a little research It is just ignorant to barrel in with insults before you know the facts. Canada along with other better off members of the UN do help with family planning along with contraceptives for many poorer countries than ours. Our Govt doesn't hand out f-ck all. The UN hands out condoms but not as a contraceptive but to help stem the spread of HIV.
Where do get this misguided crap from?

What child!! Aborting a fertilized egg is not murdering a baby.....It takes growth both physical and mental before it can be classed as a living human.. You are entitled to your belief, just as any other person is to theirs. What was murder was a teenage girl killing her baby yesterday.
Which do you feel is more humane, slicing into an aware feeling child or aborting tissue that is as yet not even fully formed.
Do you even believe in contraception for women? Because if you do, the "Day After Pill" is a form of the contraceptive one. It sloughs off the fertilized egg as well as the fertilized one.
In a perfect world there would be no rapes,no contraception failures and there no need for abortions at any stage, and all women would know how far along their pregnancy has progressed. However, this is not a perfect world. There have been women giving birth unexpectedly who were unaware they were even pregnant!! Some just thought they were getting fatYou do realize that the majority of abortions happen well past the fertilized egg. The majority happen between 12 and 20 weeks. Way past your fertilized egg stage. You f course you know this. You've done your research, right? You wouldn't be shooting off your mouth about something you know nothing about. You must be being purposely obtuse.
Condoms. They hand out condoms. That's all no "the pill" just condoms. Before you spout off, you might take time to do a little research It is just ignorant to barrel in with insults before you know the facts. You did not READ the article. Family planning has nothing whatever to do with aids. Don't be so lazy .....Read the article.Condoms. They hand out condoms. That's all no "the pill" just condoms.

Well gee, I wonder where all those UNfPA pills are going.... You failed your test. It is necessary to go further than looking at Aids prevention. It is not all about rape and forcing partners into condomless sex you know. Even poor people are often faithful to one person and therefore do not spread Aids wither or hither.Condoms. They hand out condoms. That's all no "the pill" just condoms.
