Trump gets skewered, Clinton finds support at TV's Emmy awards

As the U.S. presidential election draws near, television's stars didn't hold back on their opinions at Sunday's Emmy awards, some taking jabs at Republican nominee Donald Trump while others voiced support for Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton.

During his opening monologue, Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel called out producer Mark Burnett, the producer of reality series "The Apprentice" and "Celebrity Apprentice" which Donald Trump hosted, saying "who is to blame for the Trump phenomenon? That guy."

"If Donald Trump gets elected and he builds that wall, the first person we are throwing over it is Mark Burnett," Kimmel said, setting the political tone of the show 50 days before America elects its next president.

Trump, known for his rapid-fire responses on Twitter, had nothing to say about the Emmys on Sunday night.

I don't understand how anyone could possibly want to vote for an establishment nominee and keep things the same. It is obvious from the increased terrorist attacks and the general unrest among Americans that America is going the wrong way and badly needs change.
Sure, the younger generations don't know what the freedoms and the safety and opportunities of the past were like so they won't see the wrongness now. They will just see, 'this is what it is'.
American used to rally 'round the flag whenever there was a crisis. Now they all want to look after themselves first and to hell with the country and the rest of the citizens.
Diversity if tearing the country apart.
In point of fact, terrorism in the U.S. has been pretty steady over time. Happy Days was a TV sitcom.

Surprise, surprise! CNN once again twisted Donald Trump Jr.'s words to suit their own purpose.
They say he compared refugees to poisoned skittles. WRONG! He compared TERRORISTS to poisoned skittles.
Of course, the lame-brains who lack comprehension are all in a 'twitter' too, misinterpreting the meaning.
Obviously, CNN reports are deliberately skewed but is the general public really that stupid that they can't decipher what is really being said?
Pathetic!

Do you seriously think that the same thing goes on on the right wing press telling lies about Hillary? If you believe any mainstream media, right or left, you are gullible.

Yes please, what lies?
Supporters of Trump are a lot more civilized in their interviews and speeches than Clinton's supporters.
Trump is the only one who has used any derogatory name calling, ie. 'Crooked Hillary', etc.
It is the Democrats who always, without fail, use names like, scum, lowest class, filthy, racist, insulting, etc. Show me where Mike pence, Ben Carson, Christie, or any of the other Governors/Senators supporting Trump have used epithets like that?
Republican supporters are mannerly too. They don't cut in and talk over others; something that the Democrats do religiously as well as the reporters. Republicans wait their turn to speak and they speak in a civilized manner without ranting and raving like the Democrats do.

Northern Ontario,
The Democrats are worried, The reporter, surely known to Clinton, who addresses her by her first name asks her a prepared question...
Bloomberg Politics reporter Jennifer Epstein asked Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during a press conference Monday whether she believed the previous weekend’s terrorist attacks in New York and Jersey were a plot– possibly carried out by the Russians— to get her Republican opponent Donald Trump more votes. “Are you concerned that this weekend’s attacks or potential incidents in the coming weeks might be an attempt by ISIS or ISIS sympathizers, or really any other group, maybe the Russians, to influence the presidential race in some way and presumably try to drive votes to Donald Trump, who is, as you’ve said before, widely seen as perhaps being somebody who they would be more willing to– or see as an easier person to be against?” she asked.

Trump has made a vow to replace the bald eagle as the symbol of American freedom.

It will be replaced by the comb over eagle.

Just saw another 'panel' on CNN. Jeffery Lord, the Trump supporter never got to say more than 5 words before a yappy black woman with a voice like a cat in heat started shouting over him.
I don't know why he even agrees to participate in those panels. He never gets to finish a sentence, let alone a whole statement.
The Democrats and the moderators don't listen. They just want to talk, talk, talk. Those who never listen never learn. What a rude, opinionated, mule headed bunch they are! No respect shown to anyone who dares to try to disagree with them or present a different point of view.
There's no such thing anymore as a debate or even a conversation. All we see is Democratic propaganda.
