Re: Why won't Donald Trump release his tax returns?

no one is saying there is such a law - it is just something done by all prior candidates - in fact he demanded that Romney release his during his campaign

So when The Donald releases his tax return do you think the leftys will believe it? Like they seem to do with Clintons.

Dunno. Just wondering how a self-proclaimed pothead who did not push himself in school got into college.

Money. Connections don't hurt either.

Who cares? I started smoking pot when I was 13 and managed to get two Red Seal trades and a list of certificates long as your arm. Actually smoking pot is about the only way smart kids can put up with the public school system.

Re: Why won't Donald Trump release his tax returns?

There is no legal requirement for a Pres candidate to reveal his tax return. This was just a trend a previous Pres candidate started years ago and it has been maintained by every candidate since then, but this is not a legal requirement.

Donald Trump is 'totally nuts,' says Robert de Niro

Donald Trump is 'totally nuts,' says Robert de Niro

Robert De Niro says Donald Trump is like the main character of the legendary 1976 movie Taxi Driver, the mentally disturbed Travis Bickle.

"What he has been saying is totally crazy, ridiculous, stuff that shouldn't be even ... he is totally nuts," De Niro said during a question and answer session at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

When the moderator asked De Niro to elaborate on Bickle's mental illness, the first thing that seemed to have crossed the actor's mind was the Republican candidate.

"One of the things to me was just the irony at the end, he (Bickle) is back driving a cab, celebrated, which is kind of relevant in some way today too," De Niro said.

"People like Donald Trump who shouldn't be where he is so ... God help us," he said.

ajevans responded with a frantic applause.

De Niro says the media had given too much attention, but are now starting to say "come on Donald, this is ridiculous, this is nuts, this is insane."

De Niro opened the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival on Friday, presented Martin Scorsese's restored Taxi Driver and received the festival's first lifetime achievement award.

The situation is somewhat inspiring. If Trump can be the Republican nominee for President then surely anyone can do anything.

Not quite. He establishes the standard. If you run for president on a rational platform, you'll probably get tossed for being too intellectual.

However, if you run on total jibberish, now that'll win you votes.

Unfortunately though, that means that an intelligent candidate who is out to win might sound stupider than he really is.

And people voted for him over other candidates. Don't you love democracy?

Has society established that Robert De Nero is not nuts? Why should any American think they should take his word on this subject?

DeNero is a good actor. I was not aware he was also a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry. Must be hard to juggle the practice and the demands of difficult directors.

So I pull up to the light and look into the cab beside me. De Niro is sitting there, looking bored, while the cabbie tell him this joke.

So then the used car salesman says to the customer, 'So you DID notice the elephant sitting in the rear seat of that Volkswagen Bug. Amazing, eh? It's the first car in its class to have a trunk in the front AND the back!'

I don't think there's much doubt about it, but what will probably save him is he's not quite as nuts as Hillary. He knows he has rough edges, she thinks she's some kind of Madonna! :) :)

Hilary has totally redeemed herself in the eyes of the public.

She is going to make an excellent president.
