Member of the Tenors, singing the Canadian anthem here, just held "All Lives Matter" card up during the song:

He also rewrote a chunk of lyrics. Imagine if someone did the same to the Star Spangled Banner?

He should never have eaten those Rigelian bug nuts at the interpanetary ambassadores cocktail party
his voice has never been the same since

Frucking horrible rendition. Thou shalt not alter the lyrics.

Loved the 10 fails Dabones. Not sure how Rosanne Barr is not #1.

I think if given a choice of The Tenors and Rosanne, I would take Rosanne. She at least got the lyrics right.

They changed the lyrics yet sang 'in all they sons command' - go figure. Why people think they have to add their own touches to anthems is beyond me - must be an ego thing.

I was pleased to see that they were going to do our anthem, and very disappointed at the end,

hated the lyrics being changed, and also didn't like how they sang it.

I hope they hear about it from many, and I hope they aren't invited to do it again, ever.

and Rosanne was so horrible, not funny at all, very tacky, and that went over like a lead balloon.

I am a traditionalist, I like the anthem sung with pure patriotic passion, eg. the fellow who

sings the star spangled banner for the Chicago black hawks, he's the best.

Tho in the shower I think one can take some poetic license
help me out here:
Oh Canabis or Beer Canada?
(you know...put on right guard for thee...)

and of course "our homely native land..."
after all it is the land of the flat bum
" far and wide..."

"God keep our land glorious and free!"
(ok we have tp pay taxes so we never actually get to own any...
like beer we only rent it for a while)

sh!tty renditions aside, this is about some portuguese mr knowledge, some wee little warrior who would show us all...whoar on brave brother...you dick.

Social media erupted in fury after the Canadian quartet The Tenors changed the words to O Canada to make a political statement during the opening of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game in San Diego Tuesday night.

Holding up a sign saying “All Lives Matter,” the group sang: “We are brothers, we are sisters, All lives matter to the brave,” when they should have been singing: “With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free.”Video: Canadian quartet @TenorsMusic change O Canada lyrics at @MLB @AllStarGame in support of All Lives Matter. https://t.co/dm1XOPne4S

The words “United We Stand” were written on the back of the sign.

Although there was some applause during their performance, reaction afterwards was overwhelmingly negative, judging by comments posted on Twitter.

Although the audio wasn’t crystal-clear at the park, many fans reacted with surprise. The Canadian anthem wasn’t shown live on U.S. television, but aired in Canada.

The group later released a statement saying “The Tenors are deeply sorry for the disrespectful and misguided lack of judgment by one member of the group acting as a ‘lone wolf.’ ”

The statement goes on to say that Remigio Pereira “will not be performing with The Tenors until further notice.”

The guy who sang Oh Canada like it was Oh Christmas Tree when the Riders played in Las Vegas against short lived CFL expansion team Las Vegas Posse was the best ever.

The French lyrics are cooler.
The French ones have never changed.... Shows to go ya, eh?....

Call me a traditionalist or nostalgic.... I still prefer The Maple Leaf Forever

...and this version has double meaning being performed by Grand Dad's WW2 Regiment

Don't agree with the choice of words but I also couldn't give a fukk about the useless singalong for a mass of land.
