Ummm, the Quran is very poor rewrite of the old testament to suit the pedophiles lust for power. If you would bother to read it you would see that most of the rules oppressing women and gays come straight from Rabbinical law: Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Christians do not have the higher moral ground in this. They are subject to the same oppressive rules. Just because they choose to ignore some of them, does not mean the rules are not there.
