We will all be snickering at the 'smart' people who decided to buy pick ups etc., when the price goes back to $1.30 a litre and they start complaining about how much it costs them.

As for electric cars, they will find their way when they get better battery life.....

It back to $1.30 around here in Calgary..

Still say Hydrogen is the way to go...

Battery life, battery disposal ... and batteries that don't cost more than the car

Price of propane at the pump and availability killed any advantage they had. It should have came with an adapter so you could fill up at home. Propane conversions never took advantage of the high compression that propane allows for 10.5/1

I'm just about to go out to get a propane tank filled. I am "pre-approved" at the bank.

e vehicle sales outlook are intentionally understated because the market makers are trying to maintain oil and gas outlooks.

If you think you are ever going to get the truth you are sadly mistaken.

Nuclear electrical generation. That's the low pollution way of extracting hydrogen from water.
Nuclear energy is dead until some major advances in fusion are made.

Rubbish. There is no secret re. the numbers of electrical vehicles sold.

What a silly comment.

Fusion is 30 years in the future just as it has always been since the 1950's

If fusion was implemented tomorrow, just like nuclear fission today it would be damned by the enviro-weenies.

FTR nothing wrong with nuclear fission either although thorium reactors make even more sense.

We already have a gigantic, self-regulating fusion reactor that we call "the Sun".

Cheap gas is great. And you cannot get electrocuted at the pump. And it is dangerous to lick the receptacle.

As the need has plateaued, I am hopeful that prices will remain stable or even drop. We need a 20 cent lite of gas.
