Canadians see role for NDP in country’s political future

As the federal NDP grapples with its future, a new poll by EKOS Research suggests 68 per cent of Canadians across the political spectrum do see a role for the party in the country’s political landscape.

The NDP lost its official opposition status in the fall election and sank back to third place despite an early lead in the polls.

At its convention in Edmonton earlier this month — where 52 per cent of delegates voted to replace leader Tom Mulcair — the more leftist elements of the party succeeded in securing a two-year debate on the controversial Leap Manifesto, a 1,300-word document whose call for a rapid halt to fossil fuel development has divided the federal and Alberta wings of the party.

The NDP, needs a leader who can look good while speaking talking points.

The leap manifesto is more likely to scare away voters.

The NDP place always was and always will be a place for the radical left fringe to park their vote. Or to use as a protest vote.

I don't think the NDP has a shiny pony Like Trudeau.

The NDP place always was and always will be a place for the radical left fringe to park their vote. Or to use as a protest vote.

Unless the Liberals just got off a 14 million dollar adscam scandal. Then they have a chance at opposition

...Canadians see role for NDP in country’s political future...

But not in the immediate future. We've seen what just happened Federally
with the NDP, & though the Party recently won Provincially in Alberta, to the
shock of most Albertians the next morning, look what has happened
provincially in Saskatchewan & Manitoba in the last month....

The writing sure seems to be on the wall with respect to the NDP

As for the subject of the OP, I'd say that the role of the NDP is to essentially place last in most of the elections

the media is still happily lapping at butts crotch...full of scented pony bloom at this point...just a matter of time before networks start nitpicking at each other though. the more the progs rape the public purse and infect society with their social engineering, the more obvious they will become even to the meatheads and helmet-wearers. they'll just have to hurt enough.

"The vast majority don’t know the difference between right and wrong…
Over half of human population are order followers. And 10% are “hard core order followers”, who will do anything, no matter how immoral as long as they have the justification of someone gave me the order.
As long as the general population is apathetic, willfully refuses knowledge, and accepts that a dog-eat-dog world is the “natural order of things” then a satanic ideology will rule the planet and continue to enslave people."
