That NWT is not in China?

No, I'm well aware of that thanks.

So if you have neighbor A making noise on a Friday night, you ask neighbor B to turn down their radio because you can't sleep?

You allege that CO2 is causing issues. Why not go after the country actually putting the most CO2 in the air?

In this case... the neighbor won't listen. So they pretend he's not making any noise at all OR that the neighbor will someday turn the music down in lets say 20 years.

The annual average temperature has increased 1.6 degrees C, or twice the global average, since 1948, according to briefing documents prepared for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Canada’s North has warmed by about three times the global average _ a boost of 2.2 C, the documents note.

why did they select 1948 as their reference point? why not 1998? why not 1898?

Canada’s North is at the forefront of climate change and its effects can be seen with the naked eye on a daily basis, Bob McLeod said in an interview with The Canadian Press.

Warmer temperatures have led to a host of changes, including a shifting tree line, problems with the territory’s winter road network and significant impacts on the caribou population, McLeod said.

“I could go on and on,” he said. “We have permafrost … that’s melting. It is affecting our buildings and our housing so we have to change our building techniques.”

Climate change has also contributed to the disappearance of certain fish species, McLeod noted. “We are seeing wildlife species foreign to this area … moving further north from the south like cougar and whitetail deer.”
So heating a building without proper insulation is now a sign of global warming? The transition of wildlife is from being squeezed out of their normal territory.

You should really read the links before you post them.

But this thread isn't about China.

You might want to check the ChineseContent.net forums.

and there is the standard answer when ever it's pointed out how much countries like China contribute to the CO2 output. Rather than evading, or ignoring the question, how about you answer it. The one below put forward by IRBS. Plus, why should we, Canada, do anything since the amount of CO2 that we are responsible for is miniscule, comparatively speaking.
