Northern Ontario,
I would guess the guy who delivers the fuel oil...
I remember years ago, in a house I used to heat with oil, but an above ground tank with no drip tray in those days, the delivery guy spotted a slightly leaking loose fitting (I guess brass fitting on an iron tank do that) and pointed it out to me and used his wrench to tighten it.
I don't know if that happened often, but he had a crescent wrench on him, that I don't think is needed on a fuel truck...

I refuse to pay for mismanaged transit and malarkey carbon taxes.

I can't disagree with your take on transit down there though I don't have any current first hand experience - transit does seems to be mentioned fairly often in the news. Just heard about the gov all but giving away another ferry after spending millions and millions buying then re-fitting it. I think it about time ferries were taken out of the hands of the government and given to someone who knows what they are doing - both the NDP and Liberals have been taken to the cleaners on ferries and along with them, us taxpayers - Sheesh!
Wonder if Kevin would be interested in the job.

As for carbon taxes, after the utter futility of raging against them settled down and time passed, some folks who were former haters turned tables and are now quite proud of the fact that they are doing their bit for the environment to the point where they might sneer at provinces who have yet to do so themselves. Or so I hear.

There are no deliveries. These tanks were abandoned almost 60 years ago when gas was installed.

So you are going to "cut your nose off to spite your face"! :) :)

Neither my nose or my face ride transit.

I'm not a f-cking peasant.

That's very unCanadian, most of us in this country, mighty country, do not flutter back and forth accrosss borders dodgeing our taxes. If you'd confine your tax dollars to Canada we could afford to fix it for you.

Translink is a money pit just like BC Ferries and the $100Million a year in Subsidies the private operation sucks out of Victoria.

Carbon taxes do absolutely nothing for the environment.

BTW, when you turn in you receipts to get the money you loaned to the Govt back put in for the maximum refund. They do not check whether your receipts total that or not. It is pure data entry with zero auditing.

Neutral...

Hundreds of thousand in the lower mainland do. It is how carbon taxes appear to work. Raise gasoline prices so people buy in WA and it appears people are using less because useage data doesn't factor in the out of province purchases.

So, why are you going to the US for gas?:p All those tax dollars...........gone. :p

I lived within two miles of the U.S. border for 10 years and I was of two minds about buying gas down there. Generally there was a saving BUT I was contributing toward the upkeep of THEIR roads.

O'Leary is from TO Einstein.

... Care to regale us with any more of your insightful observations?

Didn't realize it was that O'Leary. Thanks for alerting me to the fact that he is an even bigger deadhead than I thought he was.

They chased out 20 Billion in investment and lost 35,000 + jobs, and that is just in 6 months.

$20 billlion oil sands project postponed thanks to Alberta's NDP government - The Rebel

CAPP says 35,000 jobs lost in Alberta’s oil patch | Calgary Herald

Now retailers like Costco, Superstore, Walmart are laying off employees, over 1000 combined just in Alberta..

Really? Exactly what policy was it that drove the jobs and investment from Alberta? Oh, let me guess - it was the evil NDP plot to drop the price of oil to $35 a barrel. And Notley managed to crash oil prices before she even got elected.

I was wondering how long it would take the right wing morons in Canada's financial establishment to blame the NDP for the oil recession. No doubt Trudeau will be next on the blame list. Strangely enough the right wing premier of Saskatchewan has been let off scott-free even as oil investment also flees his province, maybe if the right wingers work hard enough they can find a way to blame that on the Saskatchewan NDP.

Yep

If there was even a snowball's chance in hell of cancelling this project, the Burnaby mayor wouldn't be on his knees begging the Feds.

It's a done deal bud

If that reply is to me you may not be aware of this but I am 100% in favour of pipelines ......

Salty Guy Circling as key Conservatives test Tory leadership waters

"I thought at some point, someone is going to say to me, if you can be such a critic, why don't you do better? Why don't you try it?" O'Leary told CBC News. "I thought to myself, hmmm, maybe I should."

Not surprisingly, O'Leary said his main motivation for considering a leadership run is the economy.

"Every word that comes out of a politician's mouth, including mine, should I elect to go for this, is how does it create the next incremental job," he said. "That's what I care about."

The businessman admits he's a polarizing figure, but argues he's just telling the truth. If that sounds like someone running for the top job south of the border, it should. O'Leary freely acknowledges he is inspired by the campaign success of Donald Trump.

"I know Trump. I know his family. I've watched him work. I think he's smart as a fox," he said, adding that Trump's approach to politics taps into a growing fatigue with politicians in general coupled with a desire for better management.

No Conservative would advocate nationalization of natural resources.

Really? CB just did. That's why I don't think he is conservative in his thinking. Most Conservatives aren't and it shows whenever and wherever they form a government.
