" it is appallingly clear that our technology has surpassed our humanity". Some things are blatantly clear. Only have to open our eyes to see. Some things, not so clear. One thing I do know. When I was a kid I could play in the Salt River bed no worries. Now, it is a garbage dump emitting methane.. Can't play there anymo.:).
Fishing in Lake Erie was not a good idea when I was a kid now the fishing is good and good eatin'.

No it is because some people are focused on the important things like picking up our $hit instead ofAttempting a global wealth redistribution scam like the globull warming truthers are doing.

So if it's cold outside that's not evidence against global warming? It's so hard to understand the complicated science involved.

Must be global cooling.

You do realize that reducing pollution and fighting alleged climate change are two distinctly different activities? Efforts spent on the latter tend to take away from the former which should have the focus of the Minister of Environment and Fairy Tales.

Comparing unlike things is the point of joke. I'm mocking the stupidity of those arguments. It's not funny if I have to explain, but does perfectly prove the point that you don't get it.

I just feel one is a complete waste of time fighting a problem that doesn't really exist. I am not sure which point you don't think I get. Perhaps if you made one clearly it would be easier to identify.

I suppose that if you knew the point I didn't think you were getting, then you'd actually get the point, wouldn't you?

erm Just in case it has escaped anyone's notice, if you put garbage (stuff that is not normally there in large quantities) into the water, you get polluted water. If you put garbage into the ground, you get polluted ground. So it kind of follows that if you put garbage into the air .....
So yes, I think humans have have an impact on the atmosphere, just not as much of an impact as the Chicken Littles rant about. It is not as if nature does not have air filters and other ways of dealing with H²S (it makes a very nice acid rain and components of the ground like calcium react with it) and other compounds.
It is just my theory. =)
