Northern Ontario,
In every anti Christian thread Cliffy jumps in with both feet..
I've just gone back to about 10 anti Muslim thread and every time Cliffy posted a deflection to either a christian evil deed that compared to it or a deflection to something else
Yet claims to be neutral......

Yep.. apparently Cliffy has deemed himself an expert on what Christ really meant.. uh.. along with His collaborator Buddha.. although he hasn't picked up a Bible (or the Tipitaka) in decades (if ever). He knows we're all hypocrites though.. as revealed to him in the great noosphere neverland of Cliffyanity.

I don't suppose any "good" (albeit snotty and judgmental) Christians have noticed the pagan lady who adorns their cups 365 days a year. Guess it's all in the quality of the whine.

Who of the self-righteous or ignorant - all of whom glean their wisdom from a book of gossip (handed down by word of mouth until there were no more Romans before it was finally written down then interpreted, translated and pared down several times over) can really know what Christ REALLY meant?

Funny that christians are upset that their pagan holiday is not celebrated by a corporation selling a muslim invented drink.

Starbucks would be a non issue.. if it were the only issue. But, this is a token of the systematic eradication of Christianity from Western political, judicial, economic and cultural traditions and conversance. It has the appearance of a snowball that becomes an avalanche and will sweep away Western Civilization.

I'd be happy to see all organized religion wiped off the planet considering it's the biggest source of hate and distrust there is. Faith and comfort is one thing. Thought control is another

The entirety of Western Civilization is a manifestation of Christianity.

As Oswald Spengler asserted in The Decline of the West.. the collapse of its founding religion.. will lead to the collapse of that Civilization

Christianity and the resultant civilization was built on hundreds of millions of dead bodies of the indigenous peoples of the world. Something, I think, is worth letting go of. Christianity has never had anything to do with the teachings of Jesus and everything to do with the teachings of Paul. Christianity is a misnomer at best. You pass judgement on things you know nothing about. It is precisely because of people like you that I left the church.

Whoot!This makes me very happy.

By all means practice your religion in your home and keep the traditions you want. But in public, there is no place for such faery tales.

The entirety of Western Civilization is a manifestation of Christianity.

As Oswald Spengler asserted in The Decline of the West.. the collapse of its founding religion.. will lead to the collapse of that Civilization

Finally! Maybe now we can build a civilization based on logic, reason and understanding. Rather then fear and lies.

Well, there sure seems to be a lot of heartache amongst youse folks on this subject... I really figured that you wouldn't have cared to be honest

Where are you seeing the heartache? Is the expression of opinion by any atheist automatically heartache or butthurt?

70+ posts all generally supporting the same position, no discussion or debate on anything... this kind of chronic repetitiveness is sometimes symptomatic of one that is trying to convince themselves of something.

I think they call that "communion." I drop by for it sometimes. Only place you can get a drink on Sunday morning hereabouts.

Hint: when the give you the cup of wine and say "The blood of Christ," you're supposed to say "Amen," not "Cheers."

You're not supposed to "dunk" the host, either.
