Maybe something along the lines of................'you see what those frickin' bastards did?' Then he could call for Armageddon against those self-same bastards. Go Vlad.

Up until now I haven't had any particularly fond feelings for the guy but I'd definitely prefer him on my side than as my opponent. :) :) I was always in favour of Harper bombing the bastards as I was in favour of Bill C-51. If Justin thinks he has anything to gain by being nice to those bastards, he's sadly mistaken. Hopefully Kent Hehr has more sense.

Suddenly, the world's become a frightening place for tourists writes MAX HASTINGS | Daily Mail Online

From what I could gather from the news tonight, although it's a good possibility, it's not 100% proven yet!

The British have intelligence which states that this disaster was caused by a bomb. MI5 listened in to "chatter" from ISIS terrorists on the Sinai Peninsula.

It emerged that British spies were due to interrogate Egyptian baggage handlers after intercepted intelligence pointed to an ISIS mole smuggling a bomb into the hold of the doomed Russian jet.

MI5 heard 'chatter' from extremists in the Sinai Peninsula which revealed there is a 'high probability' the disaster was caused by an explosion on board.

Spies also believe a 'flash' in the sky when the plane came down and the lack of a distress signal points to a bomb so attention is now being focussed on baggage handlers, a Downing Street source told MailOnline.

Not only that, but a British passenger plane with 189 passengers on board had to avoid a military missile when landing at Sharm el-Sheikh airport two months ago.

A Thomson flight with 189 passengers on board had to avoid a military missile when landing at Sharm el-Sheikh airport just over two months ago.

According to one report, the missile came within 1000 feet of the flight packed with British holidaymakers.

Both the airline and the Department for Transport confirmed that an incident had taken place on August 23.

A spokesman for the DfT said: “We investigated the reported incident at the time and concluded that it was not a targeted attack and was likely to be connected to routine exercises being conducted by the Egyptian military in the area at the time.”

The Daily Mail, quoting an unnamed source, said the pilot had to veer left to avoid the missile.

A spokesman for Thomson added: “Upon landing into Sharm el-Sheikh, an initial assessment was conducted and the event was immediately reported to the UK Department for Transport (DfT) in line with established protocol.

“The DfT conducted a full investigation in conjunction with other UK Government experts.

“After reviewing the details of the case, the investigation concluded that there was no cause for concern and it was safe to continue our flying programme to Sharm el-Sheikh.”

British plane 'dodged missile above Sharm el-Sheikh that passed within 1000 feet of the aircraft' - latest news - Telegraph

By the way, what is it with the current fad - one of those weird new fads that the right-on Left follow every few years - of pronouncing foreign placenames and people's names with a foreign accent?

It used to be the case that foreign placenames and people's names read by TV newsreaders were just pronounced in those newsreaders' accents and everything was just..... well, normal and sane.

But, in these whacky times we live in, newsreaders now seem to prefer pronouncing placenames in foreign accents, for some reason. I don't know why they do it. Maybe they feel it is just a trendy Lefty thing to do, and makes them appear clever and superior, when in fact it just makes them look ridiculous.

I only have to watch ITV News, BBC News or Sky News for ten minutes before Christine Lagarde's name is mentioned in a strong French accent. It's got even more ridiculous the last few days when some dopey mare on Sky News says "Sharm el-Sheikh." She reads her report in her normal accent - which sounds like a Hull accent - but whenever she says "Sharm el-Sheikh" she says it in a strong Arabic accent with the guttural sound on the end, and it makes her sound like an ISIS terrorist. She doesn't realise just how ridicullous she sounds.

The recent history of suspicious commercial airliner crashes speaks to need for careful sometimes tedious attention to detail. Why is the west jumping to premature "bomb" conclusions? What's to be gained?

The west does that kind of sh*t in that part of the world? Well they do a lot of sh*t in that part of the world but you should not jump to conclusions. Wait for the facts. If anything further comes of the investigation I'm sure we might be informed.

Surreptitiously placing bombs on planes full of innocent civilians? I doubt it! Give me on example.

This may surprise some Russia is not a Communist Country and has not
been for some time. They are not sure yet what they are but not commies.
The crash was blown out of the sky I thought that from the start the thing is
to admit and avenge it. If it proves to be an ISIS attack the Russians will in
deed unleash bombing of everything and this will expand the war.
I would like to see sanctions against any country that supplies them period
followed by military action

That is military action if need by not a first objective

I'd like to see a brutally honest shame 'n' blame of all the meddling, action, inaction and reaction that's gone into creating a fertile breeding ground for Al Qaeda, Taliban, ISIS etc to get footing
