What truth, that the lefties have continuously pissed and moaned about the debt and deficit since 2008 and straight through to this year?

Suddenly the surplus is no big deal because "the deficit was no big deal anyway". Especially since True Dope announced he would run deficits as well.
It's all one sick joke. There's no real campaigning anymore. It's all about sound bites and spin from all parties. And the sad thing is there are people on the right and the left who just don't see it. It's like religion. Their ideologists are always all knowing and beyond reproach while the other guy's are heretical sons of jackals whose veins run black with some sort of evil malevolence bent on destroying the country.

Very well put!

That you get your *** handed to you on a silver platter?

Of course.

Again, figures can lie and liars can figure!

Suddenly, the most important factor in any given economy didn't matter.

Incredible.

Mentalfloss is pissed that the Harper Gov't has helped the Canadian economy where the other two parties have promised to spend money that Canada does not have and raised taxes on the working class..

Liberals and NDP are tax and spend governments, and Canada does not need that right now to grow it economy.

His mandate doesn't run out until Oct. 18 & he can spend the money anytime up till then, Cliffy. You better start liking Harper, he'll be around for four more years at least.

Had the $350 million for refugees been earmarked prior to March 31?

If you want to know where this so called surplus came from:

The Conservative government has severely cut federal programs and services that directly touch Canadians, and women in particular, in areas such as environmental protection, income security for seniors, food inspection, employment insurance, services for veterans. With these cuts, tens of thousands of good jobs for women have been eliminated. Job cuts severely hurt women of colour, those with disabilities as well as women from immigrant and Aboriginal communities. These women are often the last hired and the first to be let go. They are also more likely to be term workers, with little or no job security.
DID YOU KNOW? As of May 31st 2013, over 21,000 PSAC members in 58 departments had received notices that they could lose their job.

Harpler lied to us again three point six billion dollars of various unattended national potholes to address in the far away spring. His fanatical followers, the brown shirted thugs, bow and scrape while he reduces the nation to poverty and war in the service of the international planet ravagers.

When someone gives you a $ do you ask where it comes from?

That's the nature of politicians DB, and it won't change with Mulehair or Jr. except for the fact we WILL be in the red.

I don't worship politicians. I compare them for the least amount of slime. I also consider the slime I know about vs the slime that is being hidden.

I also consider who is complaining about a certain politician. Some people complaining about a politician is sometimes is a good indication I should look closer at that politician as he might be worthy of a vote.

As to the events you allege, would you happen to have supporting links? I would like to know the scope of the cuts and not just some scientist complaining because he had a code of conduct to follow.

You need a good microscope when studying slime, the naked eye don't pick up the details. With better gear you can easily see the attributes of each party. Mostly suit selection and hair styles so yes you can expect viable issue. Slime is the building block of western government You could apply for a research grant. Perhaps the program is still in place.

Yes, they cut too many services and GDP growth is paltry.

My logic is perfectly sound fool.

A surplus and growth in an extended global recession.

PS - had big laughs on your self-assessment of your logic... Even peed a bit to boot

60 BILLION a year on interest alone! And when might we expect this odious debt to be paid off? Who the fork knows.

You can thank Justine's dear ole papa for that

All while axing waste, funding went up. That means those depts are far better funded, far better mananged and delivering far more services.

Funny how that works eh?
