I think "selling Sarah short" might be a huge mistake. She was Governor of the biggest state in the Union, so she obviously has some smarts about something.

Oh well, she was smart enough to seize that opportunity, not to mention the $$$$ that goes along with it. That has to count for sumpin.
We watch the campaign on the Republican side and say oh well who cares.
When this thing is over the high concentration of urban areas will vote you
guessed it Democrat. most of the norther border states will you guessed it
vote democrat. The West cost voters will yup vote democrat. That leaves the
interior heavy rural born again states voting Republican and when the split is
adjusted democrats will win
Obama in my view has not been perfect but he is a better president then Bush

Different times, different situations, different hired help and deputies, almost impossible to compare really. I don't think Cheney and Rumsfeld were much help to Bush.
