Firstly, there is no direct relation between IQ and age, certainly not a linnear one. Secondly, IQ fluctuates within an individual. And many people have been around whose IQs were higher that either Einstein or Hawking. James Woods, for instance, has been clocked at 184. Shakira Mebarak (1 of my fave singers and philanthropists) has been clocked at 140, Dexter Holland (a musician with The Offspring and scientist in molecular biology) has been clocked at 170, my hubby scored 147 on his last quiz a few decades ago, I have a friend in Portland, OR who scored 178 when she tested, etc. etc. ad nauseum.
Also, Mensa is not as prestigious as people seem to think as there are other clubs whose entrance qualifications are stiffer than Mensa's, the Triple-9 Society, for example: The Triple Nine Society > Welcome to TNS

It makes my blood boil, when people start comparing students by their IQ. There are various IQ tests that can be used for testing procedures. A IQ test was given to white, middle class students. Then then gave the same test to students in the ghetto's in New York.. They scored quite poorly on the first test. Then the test was written from the ghetto point of view,. On that test the ghetto students scored higher than the middle class students.
