Sorry, going to have to agree to disagree on this one. First what it costs to live has nothing to do with what a job is worth, everyone has different living expenses. The person doing the labour burns more calories that have to be replaced. There is more of a safety issue to the point of being down right dangerous in some instances. I can understand the boredom factor but is it any more boring than the flag person on a road that has very little traffic? With the phone job there is nothing to prevent the person from filling in time reading a books, doing cross word puzzles, writing letters or even doing procedures on a lap top computer. A really resourceful person may be able to even work in a second job, something a person shovelling gravel wouldn't be able to do. Anyway we'll probably never agree so I'll leave it there.
you are assuming things.
and, it has everything to do with what it costs to live, we are talking about low paying jobs, not
professional workers who have had very expensive schooling, and skills that require a specialized
person, these people are both unskilled, and one shouldn't make more than the other, really jlm,
lets throw this one in to the mix, the phone could fall off of the desk and break the person's toe,
wow, very dangerous indeed. dangerous jobs on construction or other types of labour are usually done
by skilled workers,(electrical hazards), heavy machinery, not shovels, not unskilled labourers, unless of course, they are hanging from a rope over a
cliff, shovel in hand. lol
