So you just proved to yourself that you weren't there, followed up with excuses why you weren't there.

Well done BL!

The fact will always remain - unless you change your tune - that you're wrong and have spent too many years reading too many books by American historians.

Now, just show some humilty in your defeat and we shall leave it there.

Especially American ones.

There is no separate nationalities in the western monolith BL your number is listed as debt held by the crown same as every registered North American, you and we both have been played for a very long time. Grow the fu,,kk up and move aside and give a head of cabbage a chance at a productive life.

All your purple font proved me absolutely correct! The rest of it is brit excuses as to why they stayed out of the Pacific.

The guy's definitely cracked. Is there a nurse on site? Completely and utterly tonto.

Kicked out of the Philippines, just like the British at Dunkirk.

At least the British were able to blame the French. Who did the Yanks blame for the humilition in the Philippines?

Singapore? What about the Philippines?

As a typical American, I noticed you've been sidestepping that little issue whilst conveniently banging on about Dunkirk and Singapore instead.

I'm not suprised you've been ignoring the Philippines, though, because it really was rather embarassing for the Americans. A complete and utter abject humiliation of the highest order.

Where's your proof that Britain would not have gone on to win WWII were it not America joining the conflict?

I reiterate "You're asking for proof based on a hypothetical situation? You're more of an idiot than I thought."

Many historians are of the belief that Britain would still have gone on to win the war without the US joining the conflict.

Name them, cite their works.

You and your mates, however, believe that America "saves British butts." I just want to see some good reasoning behind your dubious logic rather than just you claiming it. It's no good you just saying it.

You pompous arrogant idiot, I never made any such claim, so don't put words in my mouth.

The truth just whacked you pretty hard didn't in BL?

Don't forget the Battle of Bataan during that Philippines humiliation, the largest American surrender since the Battle of Harpers Ferry in 1862. The Philippines was a complete and under humiliation for the Yanks.

It's a pity the Royal Navy wasn't there to bail you out. But, unfortunately (for you lot), it was busy winning most of the major Allied naval victories in most of the other world's oceans whilst the Yanks were busy concentrating on the Pacific, trying to take all the Pacific glory for themselves by trying to turn it into a private American war vs the Nips.

Only 14% of Britons think American did the most to win WWII. They're very sensible those Brits.

32% of Norwegians think the British did the most to win the war, and only 23% think the Americans did the most to win it.

American PR is clearly responsible for Europeans (apart from a few sensible exceptions, like the British and Norwegians) thinking they 'saved us'.

They will very soon get booted from the Philippines again. This time by the citizens of that long noble country who have suffered American rape for a century.
