Khadr shouldn't have faced any charges. He was, legally, a child soldier. The united sl*ts of America have once again shown their true colours. Charge a child for killing a soldier in a war zone, and then the useless pieces of shyte "families" decide to sue for a soldier dying on foreign soil during a war. WTF? Well that is kind of the point of battle. To kill those not on your side. They did try and he was damn near dead when they found him.
They dont seem to really care. Every other prisoner they handed back over to another allied country wound up released in short order. No backlash on those. I doubt that will happen with this one either. Khadr was actually the last one to go. They likely knew this would happen given what happened to all the others.
