I asked you what you were expecting... not what you're "NOT expecting". Again, just what are you expecting from Harpo... from the Canadian military/police? If you take your paranoia further, when it's realized you're leading "the rebels"... who ya gonna call? Are you sure your "fellow patriots" won't rise up against you... just for your "stash"? :mrgreen: Do you think you can take on the weaponry of the government/military/police... with your "fire department equivalency"? are you sure you're familiar with Orwell... and the foundations and life experiences that shaped much of Orwell's thought/writings. I read the Spanish Civil war had a profound influence... as did, of course, the Nazi's and the timing in relation to your favoured quote. Is that emblematic of what... you're expecting, from Harpo... from the Canadian military/police? Quote mining to suit one's purpose/agenda should be a cautious undertaking, particularly if say, some wag wanted to reinforce the strong Socialist leanings/position of Orwell and the many, many quotes of his available in that regard. You a Socialist, Colpy?

Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would realize that the answer "I'm not expecting a fire in my house, but I keep a fire extinguisher" would indicate that I do not expect anything from Harper and/or the military and police. I mean, I can't remember when the Conservatives pronounced martial law. Wish I could say the same about the Liberals.........
