It's the tenth anniversary of 7/7 on 7th July. I just have a feeling that the Religion of Peace is planning an atrocity in London or elsewhere in the UK to celebrate.

They didnt do anything on any anniversary of 9/11. I doubt they'll do anything for the UK.

It's that kind of complacency which allows Muslin terrorists to carry out their atrocities far easier than they would otherwise be able to.

Terror In Paris

12 dead in an attack on a satirical magazine;
Two masked gunmen stormed the offices of the controversial publication, which has previously been attacked over its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammed.
They were armed with Kalashnikov rifles and are also believed to have had a rocket-propelled grenade.[...]
It is reported both the publication's editor and lead cartoonist were among those killed, as well as two police officers.
Some 20 people have also been injured, at least four seriously.
A manhunt is under way for the gunmen, who escaped after a shootout in the street with police.
Shocking footage has emerged of a wounded police officer being shot in the head as he lies on the ground, holding his hands up.
The killers then calmly return to their getaway car, which was later found abandoned.
Probably mental illness.

BS it is.

It's complacency like that - "Oh, they never did anything to America to celebrate the tenth anniversary of 9/11 so I don't think they'd do anything in Britain to celebrate the tenth anniversary of 7/7" - which allows the Muslims to do what they do as easily as they do. It's a very dangerous attitude to take.

Because criminals are threatening them.

That's the key - criminals.

I actually think Cultist is the operative word. Most criminals are not bent on suicide or making a religious or political statement. I will agree that it was a terrorist act, which in itself is criminal, but this sort of thing is a far cry from drug dealing, bank robbery or even murder in any degree.

No, its not. Im not saying dont be careful. Im saying its paranoid to assume they will do it on an anniversary. Its predictable. People will naturally be on guard then more than any other day.

I don't see how that makes a difference. People who are killed in a drug-related drive-by or a bank robbery are no less dead than people killed in an ideologically-motivated terrorist attack. And people killed in an ideologically-motivated terrorist attack are no more or less dead when the motivation is Islamic radicalism, white supremacy, non-white racism, misogyny, anti-abortion fanaticism, or any other ideology.

I see no alternative to our current techniques of criminal intelligence-gathering and law enforcement that doesn't raise more problems than it solves.

The best part about this is that everyone is going to start flashing the satirical piece as a moment of pride about free speech and then South Park will have an episode making fun of it.

western progs living in gentrified bubbles, hunkered down in coffee houses with their tablets...the real world beyond their 'safe' borders would have them pissing their pants if they ever had exposure to it...they're kinda like the cocooned participants in that idiotic amazing race show.

Say again?

2012 Benghazi attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"On the evening of September 11, 2012, Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound..."

Ah, true. Though from what Ive read the date was more of a coincidence than something deliberately planned for the anniversary.

Different how?

Well, for example the new testament says women shouldnt speak without the permission of a man. I suspect most Christians today would not go for that rule. If they did women may not have been able to get the vote given how religious people were at the time when that policy did change.

Gunned down after terrorists asked for them by name, the four cartoonists who mocked Islam and refused to be threatened by 'Koranic law'

Four of France's most revered cartoonists - Stephane Charbonnier, Georges Wolinski, Bernard 'Tignous' Verlhac and Jean Cabut - were among 12 executed by gunmen at the offices of magazine Charlie Hebdo. Charbonnier, 47, known by his pen name Charb, was the editor of the magazine; Cabut, also called Cabu, its lead cartoonist; and Wolinski an 80-year-old satirist who had been drawing cartoons since the 1960s.

The killers were heard to shout: 'The Prophet has been avenged.'

And there were unconfirmed reports that one of the gunmen said to a witness: 'You say to the media, it was Al Qaeda in Yemen.'

OK, check my reasoning. You want to limit immigration, and possibly deport non-citizen immigrants, for no reason but the fact that they are Muslims. How is this not denying freedom of religion? It is specifically taking government action against the people of one religion because of their religion. That's kinda the definition of denying freedom of religion.

I see it as removing members of a known terrorist group.
