When that happens patriotism gives way to tribalism. That's the net effect of multiculturalism. It produces tribal loyalty instead of national loyalty.

There must be something that the residents of a place share in common, e.g., an idea, that brings them together. That's no longer the case in the US. If you disagree with me then tell me what is the unifying principle of the residents of the US.
