Here is the difference Gerry, the New Testament overlays the Old Testament............and includes such concepts as "let he who is without sin cast the first stone", and "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is God's"
In Islam, the tolerance of early chapters is overlain by the warlike nature of later chapters, and there is no mercy, and no authority but Islam
