No, he isn't. If you actually read what he says, you'll find he is addressing the important issues rather than spewing garbage everywhere with the hope that some will stick. like Harper's usual MO.

Colpy says Trudeau makes him sick......not surprising. .....Just the idea of not being in power would sicken most Tories.

How do you think your tax bill will compare after Jr. has been in power for a year? -:) You think after living for 40 years where there's always been ample money available, that is all of a sudden going to change? Alison Redford and Duffy will resemble a couple of paupers, the day before Welfare Wednesday.

Harper had a good run, but people get fed up with the same guy after a while. What's the old saying: Politicians, like babies, need to be changed often and for the same reason.

Don't be too sure, the electorate just like the politicians are greedy and in no rush to see their taxes sky rocket! -:)

Taxes pay for our social programs, like Medicare. I don't mind paying them. Plus there's not a huge correlation between and taxes, economic helath and the party in power. I did like Jim Flaherty though.

Absolutely and I don't mind paying them either ...............up to a point! Just heard today that about 40% of our income is going to taxes.............THAT is a little beyond the pale! I can live with 15%.
Yeah, Flaherty was good- too bad he killed himself.

The least I can say about topics like this is I am not bound to one party. What terrible mistakes can make this country worst than the previos government and the one borfore that.
This country moving forward? pffft an empty comment.

Maybe not when you examine the rest of the G20!

Oh he will. He's already said he's running a positive campaign. And he's got some organizers fro Obama's first run at the Whit House.

The Titanic had great fanfare surrounding it too... Didn't work out to well in the end.

Sadly for Trudeau, the World now understands the result of electing a hopey changey candidate.... JT will not benefit from this same style of campaigning

Probably the nbiggest thing going for Trudeau is that he's not Harper.

Trudeau's last name is as much of an albatross as it is a benefit.... But let's not forget that he has alienated the whole pro-life demographic.

Agree with them or not, they still vote

This country moving forward? pffft an empty comment.

It's when you are stagnant or moving backwards that the full understanding is realized of the value of 'moving forwards'

Oh wow, I didn't know the seat difference would be that substantial. Cons have a lot of work ahead of them.

By the time the election rolls around half the Dipper seats will disappear, as will Jr. pretty well everywhere west of Quebec. Last I heard Alberta IS included in the Prairies, but it will unlikely be including Jr. Anyone who thinks Jr. will secure 14 seats in B.C. is smoking something he/she shouldn't.

In case you haven't noticed, lost 'dipper support' generally goes to the Liberals, not the Cons.

Temporarily, which is why the Libs are enjoying a little "swell" right now. -:)

P.S. Watch for the Bloc to regain some of the lost Dipper support!

Yes, fringe leftists who are moving to a left leaning Liberal party are just swelling up until they move on to a comparatively extreme-right party just before the election.

Makes perfect sense. ;)

That reminds me, you need to change your avatar. Whoever that is has a face like five pounds of bad hamburger.

Yes that is an old saying but who's old saying? Certainly it has always been in the interest of that most special lobby (the filthy rich) to change the lead singers in there acts whenever, as you pointed out, the stink gets to the electorate. This will no longer work as the system is exposed. They never actually change the babies just the diapers which are soiled by the same controlling agents over and over again by the same baby. Don't be fooled by the haircuts and suits they are the same sh itty baby.

It's not a matter of the percentage of pay going to tax, in my opinion. It's matter of what you want the government to do. For instance, if you wanted the government to privatize education, you might be able to knock off a few percent. Get rid of medicare--maybe 10%. Get rid of a standing army--maybe 3%. Welfare, care for the elderly, employment insurance, payiong off debt, yadda yadda yadda.

That's where the discussion needs to be.

Only because you get a seniors discount. More like 50% for the rest of us. More for some.
