25,000 is about as many jobs as the Conservative party created in the civil service when they came to power in 2006. So these jobs disappear apparently unnoticed. Did anyone notice these jobs when they appeared? The article you quoted rests its argument on the fact that the Conservatives refuse to say where these jobs were lost. Doesn't that seem fishy?

The number of jobs is not the issue, it's the usefulness of the jobs! I think this summer has demonstrated to us adequately that several hundred jobs are needed in British Columbia just to clear flammable debris in the interface of populated areas. I predict they will never transpire and it won't be long before we have another scorching summer as bad or worse than this one when again many $millions will be "pissed down the drain" fighting more unnecessary fires.
I don't find it offensive, I find about 10% of what he says is erroneous and the other 90% he's just off his rocker.
I've read more about the Constitution, the founding fathers writings, the federalist papers and any new discovery remotely associated with the US Constitution than you will ever hope to achieve. That is true but the USA was not founded upon the idea that it is to be policeman of the world or its conqueror. In fact Washington demanded that we refrain from all forms of foreign entanglements {op cit}.

It is stupid to have an army that is not being used to it's maximum potential.
They don't cut jobs because their asses would be the first ones deemed 'redundant' now GTF out and leave the pension at the door. They will quit squirming once they see what the bankers face.
The 2d Amendment furnishes us with the right to keep and bear weapons in order to insure that no foreign power could make any effort to overcome us. Costa Rica has no standing army and they are at peace. Who in their right wing would try to overtake a country like ours that is so much bigger?
Until a war they are hunters and target shooters. You want to play triathalon with a tank that will be $1,000/shell, 10 clip minimum.
Bear weapons means something you can carry, one shooter and two ammo carriers is the route I would follow.
Why did we allow the foreign banks to take over printing our money at a price of $30B/year? If we didn't we would need to finance a standing army to battle terrorist acts and the other things pulled that would put the bill at $300B/ year for the right to print our own money.

it is important to lay off unneeded federal workers. Do you want to become another USA? their debt is $150,000 per taxpayer. That is basically like making a mortgage payment on a house you don't get to live in.
Canadas government should be just the right size to stuff in a container and sent to the eastern front of Ukraine where they could defend their idiot policies, real time, expensive shoes on the ground there so intent destroying.
