Is that like accepting terms for a cease fire only if the terms favour you? I haven't read a lot of unreasonable in the "10 year" truce being bandied about - except in Colpy's version

It isn't the Israeli's that have to stop - they will if Hamas stops! I can't believe the ignorance of some individuals here and believe me I don't use that term lightly. I don't particularly like calling people names but it frightens me to death to read some of the stuff I'm reading here.
I can really see now how we've learnt nothing from the two WW's - and that a holocaust could easily happen again and no one would give a damn - just like the 1930's. Thank GOD Israel has the power to protect herself, because she would otherwise be destroyed. At least Israeli's are alive and can protect themselves. Notice I said "Israeli's" because it's not only Jews that live there.
All the deaths in Palestine are horrible but don't blame the Israeli's - put the blame where it belongs - on Hamas. Its truly unfortunate that the population voted the buggers in because now THEY are paying the price. It's not just Israel that's killing the civilians - its Hamas too. But of course, you don't hear that part of it. To Hamas, the civilians that are killed are just collateral damage. They're rocket launchers are in schools, in churches, in hospitals - do you REALLY think they give a crap?? Absolutely not. It's all part of the propaganda and the West is falling for it. Why? Is it willful ignorance or simply "hate"? I'm beginning to think it's both.

I agree with you about the ignorance here with respect to the Israeli situation. I notice you do not mention the horror and disgust and fear that Arabs must feel reading these posts. It's impossible to fault those who are self licensed faultless.
I'll say this. I've gotten far more correct info on the latest situation from J-Post and Haaretz than the western papers.
I had no idea that PA and Shin Bet were working together on the 4 murders.
I didn't know that the Qawsamehs are going against Hamas leadership and the PLO creating this mess and that Nutlessyahud and Shin Bet were at odds on the role of Hamas in this latest incident.
None of what I gleaned from Israeli and Arab sources was ever mentioned in our media.
We aren't getting the truth from our media. WTF is up with that?

So why not fill in the details of who the dead man was and how he died? The pic is posted so it can show Hamas (if that is even who it is). Perhaps he was a collaborator or some other degenerate.

Would you like some dead children photos that you don't see in the Western Media also? There is no lack of them and more are added everyday. Then (or somebody) can explain why a 3yr old boy is missing half his head? If you want to find the dirty and disgusting people look for the ones doing that. The West thrives on pics of people it has hunted and killed. Usually old partners like OBL and Saddam.
Israel doesn't let photos out of their handiwork, are you claiming there are no deaths because there are no photos?
The RCMP would be more than happy to hear the details and tracking people that like is not very difficult for them and it is actually your civil duty to reports thgreats like this. One day the same person may act on a threat made to somebody else. If it was via a PM or something on the forum the Police and the mods should be contacted with the info going straight to the Police. If you need the right dept I can PM it to you.
Well, physically yes, I missed World War 2. I was born in 1965. However, I have read quite a bit about the subject.
I don`t run in haste to Israel`s defense. I am simply pointing out that if the Ukraine were to use the same tactics as Hamas against, oh I don`t know, say Russia. I would have exactly the same complaint.
I feel for average Palestinians as they are reaping what they sow after giving legitimacy to a party bent on Israel`s destruction by voting them into power. See that`s how this works eh. You keep people uneducated, keep them hungry, then you serve up someone to blame. In this case Israel makes for a good scapegoat. Never mind we are firing rockets from civilian locations and putting people in harms way; blame Israel. Never mind we are sending our young people out in suicide vests; blame Israel. Never mind that we are poking a militarily superior country; It`s Israel fault!
Thinking of World War 2, that`s exactly what Hitler did. Adding to that his Final Solution and the subsequent Holocaust which, the Palestinians are fond of denying.

You logic is flawed.
Israel intentionally keeps Gaza the same way it was from 1967 (20 years before Hamas won any elections) and then when they complain that is used as an excuse to start the bombs raining down.
The photo was 2012 and the killings were explained so representing it as something recent only shows there are no new items like that so the old is regurgitated as being new. If Israel would push that lie then a lot of lies are most likely involved. You may coddle liars but I want nothing to do with any liar, be it a nation or an individual.
I would post a few links but Israeli crimes would make for a very long post and I'm sure you wouldn't follow any link anyway. Wrongski? You defecting to Russia?
