Absolutely correct.
Also true.
But he who keeps the big tent open wins. Trudeau ain't doing it by throwing out people on matters of conscience.
That clearly isn't the case. Trying to be everything to everyone made the Liberals into a party that stood for nothing. Meanwhile the conservatives played only to specific portion of the population and pissed off everyone else, and cleaned up in the elections.
As well, Trudeau promised a new way of doing things, leadership by concensus.... HA!!
Bottom up nominations...........HA!!
His inherited love of dictators is showing.
Sorry, but I honestly can't resist taking potshots at this silver-spoon, empty-headed, entitled, power mad pissant..............and I say that in the very nicest way possible.
His actions certainly have not matched all of his rhetoric, but then again, he is a politician.
Say what you want about him, the fact is that since he took the reins the Liberals have consistently been ahead of the Conservatives in the polls, have dramatically increased fundraising, and shown strong results in by-elections.
What does is matter if a lot of people don't like him? Most people in Canada don't like Harper, and have disliked him for close to a decade. What does that matter if he can win elections?
You don't win elections by trying to get everyone to like you. You win elections by getting enough people motivated to vote for you, and enough in Canada is a lot less than the majority of the population.
