If I do I'll be accused of playing the BROKEN RECORD card.

Ain't it strange that none of the right wingers do? After all, they missed this one:

michelle explained that she was frowning earlier cause she was tired, not angry at any one, contrary to the myths spewed by the right wingers

I sure iz. But Mad Dog was considerably better looking .... ;)
why seek truth when the facts get in the way of a held belief system?

Why did she then move BHO and sit between him and the blond broad as any good mother would do with an unruly child at a church service?

Photographer is confused by right wings characterization of photos..........

Roberto Schmidt, a photographer for AFP, wrote this week that he was surprised to learn how people were characterizing Michelle Obama's demeanor during the much-publicized "selfie" that involved the President, Thorning-Schmidt and British Prime Minister David Cameron.

"I later read on social media that Michelle Obama seemed to be rather peeved on seeing the Danish prime minister take the picture," Schmidt wrote. "But photos can lie. In reality, just a few seconds earlier the first lady was herself joking with those around her, Cameron and Schmidt included. Her stern look was captured by chance."

The first lady's seemingly icy expression in some of the photos became something of a meme on Twitter, prompting jokes that President Obama had found himself in the doghouse for what looked like playful flirting.

C'mon Obama, show them the beef...........

The U.S. now has the highest proportion of low-wage workers in the developed world, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. One in four make less than two-thirds of the median wage, which is the same proportion that rely on public aid. It’s becoming more widely accepted that the spread and persistence of low-wage work is behind rising income inequality and reduced social mobility. What’s less well known is the role Democrats have played in creating this trap.

In his widely admired speech on income inequality Dec. 4, President Obama seemed to share all of these concerns.

“We know that there are airport workers, and fast-food workers, and nurse assistants, and retail salespeople who work their tails off and are still living at or barely above poverty,” he said.

Based largely on that speech, and some West Wing whispers, Politico announced Friday “President Obama turns left.” But outside of saying again that it’s time to raise the minimum wage, the president hasn’t yet put much meat on a “left” agenda for low wage workers.

It would also be nice for Obama to recognize: The fact that so many Americans “work their tails off and are still living at or barely above poverty,” receiving public assistance, is not just an unhappy accident. It’s the result of public policy supported by many Democrats — and he hasn’t done much to change or challenge it. In fact, the chair of Obama’s Council of Economic Advisors has made the most spirited defense of it.

The truth is, a bipartisan consensus emerged in the 1990s, that a job, practically any job, was better than long-term public assistance for so-called “able-bodied” adults, including mothers with young children. It led to controversial 1996 welfare reform legislation that had ramifications way beyond the realm of welfare.

Gopher, are things in America working out today the way you hoped back in 2008?

I'll butt in and say better, things were bleak in 2008 as the stock markets crashed. Bankruptcies were running rampant, C.E.O.s were being charged with fraud, Fanny and Freddie were pariahs.

Not too bad if I may add... and as long as the US Govt. keeps pumping $85 Billion dollars per month into the economy it should stay stagnant.

I'm trying to see if there is any discrepancy between the hopes Gopher held for Obama back in 2008 and the way things have worked out after five years of the Obama Administration.

It's ironic isn't it that Obama reappointed Bernanke and has nominated Yellin as FED chairs. Their policies are trickle down economics in action. After attacking conservatives for trickle down economic policies, that's exactly the policy adopted by Obama.

The only thing keeping this place afloat is the government pumping trillions of dollars into the economy. It is a house of cards.

Gopher is a lamb... he will follow and bleat for his shepherd.
