... a whole lot better than under Bush

My friend, that begs the question. In law school they taught you what a "negative pregnant" is. You've just given us an example of the correct usage.

Even in your wildest dreams you could not have anticipated what has come to pass. Never before in our lifetimes have Americans in large numbers given up on America. Neither one of us could have foreseen such a thing five or ten years ago. Doesn't it break your heart to realize that the ties that have bound us together as countrymen are fraying and coming apart? Living in California it's easier for me to see the passing of what was once a shared creed.

When I was young I was introduced to Gene McCarthy, Hubert Humphrey, and Orville Freeman. My people belonged to the DFL. They were all about lifting the common person up in the face of concentrated financial power. They were not in favor of empowering govt. for the sake of empowering govt.

I know it's difficult to let go of those things by which we have defined ourselves over the course of a lifetime. It's shattering to realize that one has devoted decades to advancing something which is ultimately anathema. Reflecting back on a lifetime sometimes gives us perspective.

You got to be fückin kidding yourself.

Today corporate profits are at their highest since the year 1900. If the laws put into place by Roosevelt had been kept in place there'd be full employment with everyone prospering, not just the rich. As we have discussed and documented on this forum more than enough times taxes were higher under Clinton and others and we still had far lower unemployment rates. If you want to see those days return, put an end to the bullsh!t Reaganomics with its trickle down baloney.

Today people have health insurance and their lives are being saved, again as we have documented on this forum. Prior to this time 45,000 were dying every year from lack of health care. Not only did Harvard affirm this number, so did the medical profession under the American Journal of Public Health. This has given hope to millions.

A few years ago you had hundreds of Reaganvilles all over California. While there are still some around, thankfully there are fewer today than there were under Reagan and the Bush idiots.

Yeah I know none of this is fashionable or politically correct to say. Somehow everyone is under some obligation to buy into the Fo卐 network propaganda garbage. Anyone who is dumb enough to buy into that because they lack the rationality to think for themselves is welcome to do so. And if things are as fücked up as you want to believe, then you need to assign some of the blame to the Repukeblicans for their obstructionism in Congress, their failure to come up with a jobs bill, and their unwillingness to end tax shelters for the wealthy elites.

And if you troubled to do just a little thinking, you would understand why Congress's popularity ratings are significantly lower than those of Obama.

You're referring to Big Business, not Small Business. Big Business and Govt. are fused together into Corporatism. Both Republicans and Democrats are part of the problem. I reject them both.

...taxes were higher under Clinton and others and we still had far lower unemployment rates. If you want to see those days return, put an end to the bullsh!t Reaganomics with its trickle down baloney.

The secret for prosperity is a well educated workforce. That's what both Reagan and Clinton had. The best educated are the Baby Boomers who are now leaving the workforce. The generations following on are inferior in terms of their skill sets.

Today people have health insurance and their lives are being saved, again as we have documented on this forum. Prior to this time 45,000 were dying every year from lack of health care. Not only did Harvard affirm this number, so did the medical profession under the American Journal of Public Health. This has given hope to millions.

Not true unless you can prove it to me. What you are missing is the fact that the quality of health care for most Americans will decline under Obamacare. We can't keep our insurance and we can't keep our doctors under the new regime.

A few years ago you had hundreds of Reaganvilles all over California. While there are still some around, thankfully there are fewer today than there were under Reagan and the Bush idiots.

The problem of homelessness in California is growing, not declining. I know many leftist homeless advocates. They have lost all faith in Obama because they see what is happening at street level with their own eyes. The working class and the middle class in California are being destroyed. Both classes are in deep decline. Obama's crony capitalist policies only help wealthy people like Congressperson Nancy Pelosi and Senator Diane Feinstein.

Yeah I know none of this is fashionable or politically correct to say. Somehow everyone is under some obligation to buy into the Fo卐 network propaganda garbage. Anyone who is dumb enough to buy into that because they lack the rationality to think for themselves is welcome to do so. The OECD recently published the PISA scores for students worldwide. American students aren't doing very well. This is an objective fact. The country can't be governed from the House of Representatives. You know that.

And if you troubled to do just a little thinking, you would understand why Congress's popularity ratings are significantly lower than those of Obama.

Congress, Obama and America have something in common. Failure.

Yes, you're correct: once again, Obama was called "commie" or something like that on more than just a few occasions here .....

Obama is a crony capitalist who says one thing and does another. He's not for lifting people up. He's all about empowering the Ruling Class and Their Govt.

More from a freedomlander, but at least he calls Obummer an Atheist and not a Muslim..............

After President Barack Obama posed for a selfie at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, Tea Party patriot Brian Schwanke raced to his Facebook page to post a story about how Michelle Obama was purportedly infuriated by her husband’s impromptu shoulder-to-shoulder snapshot with Denmark’s fetching Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

“What a classy president we have. His wife has to sit between him to make "lil Barry "behave,” wrote Schwanke, whose Facebook page reports that the United States “WAS founded on a CHRISTIAN foundation, and the progressive, atheist left is running us into the ground to create a Socialist country that will fall like all the others.”

But Obama’s self-portrait and the left’s treachery are the least of Schwanke’s troubles these days.

The 46-year-old Michigan resident was named today in a federal criminal complaint charging him with distributing and receiving child pornography. Schwanke, pictured above, allegedly used the e-mail account hornypastor@outlook.com to trade hundreds of revolting photos and videos.

He was netted by Australian undercover police conducting an online sting. The Australian authorities reported Schwanke to U.S. officials, who raided his home.

Self righteous religious Tea Bagger caught in the act. No surprise.

Small wonder why the TB's popularity ratings are lower than the GOP and everyone else in politics.

Seems some of the people insistent on making this non story re; the Pics an issue have other issues in their lives which explains why they are so focused on this trivial matter..........

Tea Party ‘revolutionary’ Larry Klayman blames Obama for disastrous CNN interview

Tea Partier and frequent litigant Larry Klayman said in an interview with World Net Daily on Thursday that he is considering filing a lawsuit against the news network CNN after an embarrassing interview with anchor Don Lemon and legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin earlier this week.

Not only did Klayman tell WND head Jerome Corsi that Lemon should be fired for being a “well-known ultra-leftist African-American political activist who pursues a LGBT sexual agenda,” Right Wing Watch reported that the Tea Party leader said that the interview was the culmination of a plot against him by formidable forces.

“What CNN did to me yesterday was a hit piece orchestrated against me by the Obama White House with the direct involvement of the Democratic National Committee in an attempt to discredit me and to turn the public against Judge Leon’s court decision that the NSA is violating Fourth Amendment rights,” Klayman said to Corsi.

Toobin argued on CNN that while perhaps it’s true that the program is invasive and unconstitutional, a nuisance litigant like Klayman — who has sued, variously, President Barack Obama in a “birther” lawsuit demanding evidence of the president’s birth in Hawaii, the Minneapolis City Pages and the Phoenix Sun-Times, his ex-wife, an Ohio family court official, the Clinton administration (18 different times) and even his own mother — was a useful tool in a targeted political ruling.

Toobin read from p. 39 of Leon’s ruling, which quoted Klayman as saying, “I think they, the NSA, are messing with me.” The judge wrote that Klayman “then went on to explain that he and his clients had received inexplicable test messages and emails, not to mention a disc, containing a spyware program.”
The legal analyst said that even the judge who granted the suit thinks that Klayman is a victim of “tin-foil hat paranoia” and a “lunatic.”

“He had some fantasy that the NSA was after him,” said Toobin. “This case is not about Larry Klayman. It’s about the metadata program that affects everybody, but the idea that Larry Klayman is the representative is simply outrageous.”

Klayman said on Thursday that all of this is an orchestrated hit on his credibility.
