Oh oh, Zippy's still mad, and cowardly hiding personal attacks.
Serious question, do you actually think you're fooling anyone but yourself?
Ah, great question. This probably more aptly belongs in a epistemology thread, since the question is essentially philosophical in nature. Whereas the topic of this thread is "Should Ford Resign."
There's been some recent work in the area of "fooling ourselves." For instance, one you might be pretty interested in, since it applies to you, is the Dunning Kruger Effect (
Dunning–Kruger effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
Dunning and Kruger proposed that, for a given skill, incompetent people
will:
- tend to overestimate their own level of skill;
- fail to recognize genuine skill in others;
- fail to recognize the extremity of their inadequacy;
In this case, for example, you don't recognize your own incompetence. You are more or less just hurling insults and personal attacks, and mistaking this for insightful political acuity, while, at the same time, failing to recognize my clear superiority in competence in debate of political isssues.
Anyways, we'll save that for another thread, shall we!
Back to the Mayor....Here's one for discussion: Mayor Rob Ford is the real victim here....discuss!
Good luck!
