which First Nations? You do realize that First Nations encompasses a lot more than just one nation? Do you not? Are you talking about just the Mohawk Confederation? If so, then why not include all the Salish Nations (to which my wife's family belongs), or the Blackfoot Nations? How about the Anishinaabe, which Bear's wife and my maternal side come from?

You hate Americans, all 300 million plus, no use at all for First Nations. Canada's treatment of First Nations has been horrid,including Genocide, and Canada is still at the disgusting level in the treatment of FN Peoples. And yet you claim to be a rational, caring and compassionate person.

The Parti and Bloc Quebecois want to separate and always have. Quebec has shown in two referendums and countless polls that the province itself does not want to separate.

Its about power and only about power. Quebec provincial politicians would rather be national leaders with their own seat in the UN than "mere" Canadian provincial leaders. For those lofty goals many are asked to sacrifice everything.
