Post #70 sure doesn't read like gerry's words, and I've been reading and talking to him a long time. Looks like misquoting to me.

The words are Tober's own, it's a part of his reply. He's just being really, really sloppy with the quote box.

But it's misleading and I think it should be corrected with an edit.

You’re missing my point. Once again you are ignoring the parts that don’t fit your rant. Read my lips carefully.

.

Ignoring parts that don't fit rants. Considering that this thread is about the topic of women being raped, I can't help but feel that you are the one ignoring parts that don't fit rants, seeing as how you continue to suggest that they're not rapes.

Like I said in a previous post to Nick, the knee jerk response speaks volumes, and you're yelling loudly.... rape=women crying wolf. And you're even going so far as to scream it in CapsLock

I eliminated paragraphs that weren’t worth responding to, I didn’t misquote you. I left your words on the screen. Yeah, I know – pathetic, but your words are all we get to work with.

No, you stuck shyte in that I never said. Here is the quote that you attributed to me.

When you think of it that way it is obvious. I doubt that very many women would want to be considered “rapists” (the old term) if they do something to a semi-conscious unconsenting partner, but some here are quick to want to do that to men.

and here we go.....................................................................

and she shouldn't be dressing like a ****, and she shouldn't be teasing, and she shouldn't be....... and she shouldn't have..........

it's amazing the number of excuses a guy can come up with as to why it's her fault.

You and I have talked about this in the past. How she dresses or act is irrelevant. No means no. If you got your d ick in her and she says stop it becomes rape if you continue.

The point I make here is just because she can't remember saying yes doesn't make it rape. In fact if she can't remember it might be rape but it can't and shouldn't be prosecuted unless there is evidence she was drugged against her will.

Drunk is one thing, there are different degrees of drunk, unconscious is a whole different think. Any goomer that would do a chick that was unconscious should have his nads nailed to a stump !

Sorry about the red Relic. Should have been green. Damn new phone has a sensitive screen.

There are many cases that we can find double standards, and that's normal, and acceptable to me. Nature never has been politically correct, or fair, or balanced, or equal.

You find double standards acceptable?

With that comes more power....

Sounds to me like you want power. Sad, man. You have enough power to make a decent life. What do you want more power for - to hurt people?

Post #70 sure doesn't read like gerry's words, and I've been reading and talking to him a long time. Looks like misquoting to me.

If you mean the stuff I quoted, look harder.

You're letting your emotions get carried away. Read carefully. I only said that just because" a woman is drunk doesn't make sexual intercourse involuntary. I didn't say passed out or comotose. I merely said drunk. You sound quite radical.

Like I said in a previous post to Nick, the knee jerk response speaks volumes, and you're yelling loudly.... rape=women crying wolf. And you're even going so far as to scream it in CapsLock

My response isn't knee jerk. All I said is that intoxication in and of itself does not mean rape. You are assuming that we are talking about women too smashed to know what they're doing. I was careful to avoid referring to that extreme a situation. Nor have I accused anybody of crying wolf - I haven't made any accusations of misconduct. You are assuming an extremist situation that I deliberately avoided mentioning. I wanted to see who would stay rooted in common sense and who would go extremist.

Here's one "act" that isn't "irrelevant" it seems.

If you mean the stuff I quoted, look harder.

Most of the "stuff you quoted" was not said by me, even though you attributed it to me through the quote.

No kidding? The only thing you wrote was the definition of misogynist. Everything in blue above that was my post. I didn’t attribute it to you, I wrote it.

and yet everything is in the quote box with my name at the top. So, do I just put it down to you being too stupid to know how to quote properly?

Do you see where it says 'posted by gerry'....that implies Gerry posted it. When you post, make sure that only the person's words are in the quote.

The fact that she can't remember doesn't mean she has no right to have it investigated, no matter why she can't remember.

You're letting your emotions get carried away. Read carefully. I only said that just because" a woman is drunk doesn't make sexual intercourse involuntary. I didn't say passed out or comotose. I merely said drunk. You sound quite radical.

The fact of the matter is, it's a discussion surrounding rape, and your reaction is to come in and say that maybe rape isn't rape after all if it's not rape.

Seriously, we all know sometimes women get drunk and it's not rape, that's not what this thread was about.

Yes, not all humans where created equals, there are different standards for different people, and genders. You can't possibly only have one standard for everyone. That's just naive.

More is expected from stronger, individuals. Like less is expected from young weak children.
It's perfectly natural to have double standards.

What retard decided it wasn't ok?

Sounds to me like you want power. Sad, man. You have enough power to make a decent life. What do you want more power for - to hurt people?

Where did I say I wanted more power?
I didn't say I wanted males to be the dominant gender in our race.
I said the male IS the dominant gender in our race.

And what's so sad about being dominating, strong and powerful?

Are you some kind of feminist?

Nope, but you are an idiot.
Here's one "act" that isn't "irrelevant" it seems.
Even more asinine than calling me a liar. Which act do you refer to? That she can't remember? That isn't an act. Or are you referring to her being drugged against her will? Which would be the act of another.

You are small minded G. Fortunately your chauvinism and black & white view of the world would be sniffed out easily and you would never sit on a jury.

I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about. You didn't bother posting the text you say offends. It is hilarious when somebody presuming to lecture makes the mistake they are lecturing about.

The fact of the matter is, it's a discussion surrounding rape, and your reaction is to come in and say that maybe rape isn't rape after all if it's not rape.

No, I never said that rape isn't rape. I said that every time a woman who has sex is drunk it isn't rape. There is a significant difference between what you are suggesting and what I said. You are trying to dramatize a situation with a misandrist slant. I am trying to reduce the misandry that you are exploiting.

Seriously, we all know sometimes women get drunk and it's not rape, that's not what this thread was about.

"Your position" is not what this thread is necessarily about. We all know what you are saying and everybody agrees. Why keep ranting? By continuing to rant it quickly becomes misandrist (misandrist - definition of misandrist by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.) - something I dislike as much as you dislike misogyny. Because of the rising misandrist content I chose to deflate it.
