Why are you against Gay marriage?

I never said it wasn't.
But marriage between a man and a woman should be encouraged. Gay marriage shouldn't be.
Bull. If one of my kids turns out to be gay, even if I was not supportive of homosexuality, I can guarantee that I am going to encourage my child to settle down, form a family unit, and live as conventional a life as possible. Partnership, support, and love, are necessary for people. A healthy society encourages its members to embrace that where they can.
I fully agree that marriage between a man and a woman should be encouraged with heterosexuals! With homosexuals that doesn't work too well.

Why is gay marriage so threatening to you? If you believe in a book that can be interpreted every which way possible, you must believe in Santa Claus as well. Homophobes like yourself are always bringing the sex act into the discussion; why is that? When did you chose to be straight?

Not saying I agree with that stance, but, it made me laugh when I read his quote.
Dude, I'm just messing with you (tolling you).. if you read the thread or my earlier posts - I have no issue with homosexuality or gay marriage..
Life is to dam short, people should be happy with who they are..
My only issue with homosexuality is the gay parades or ever constant need of attention to let people know they are gay.. nobody cares, really.
I think that is where most of the resentment or bios comes from towards homosexuality, is the outlandish flamboyance. Keep it in the bedroom..

I don't care if I see your sexuality. I DO care if I see your sexual activity. Keep the fetish gear in the bedroom (and yes, this goes for the straight folk who've newly discovered shades of grey as well. Please, do not wear your slave collar to an everyday dinner party. Please)

The real problem is polarization. The fundamentalist groups who need an issue
to unite their own kind against something or someone and then there is the
group in this case the Gay community that needs the publicity and they feed off
each other until everyone is sick of it.
Its like the air canada slogan "we're not satisfied until you're not satisfied"
I really don't care who gets married to who. I am tired of the same menu of
hostility and counter hostility so both sides can score points.
