First of all I think a demonstration is a short term thing like disrupting traffic in Kelowna
for the Apple Triathlon. Its easier to deal with it no matter how futile the cause is. Obama
will not be impeached and life will move on. Besides these people make reusable signs
as they will be hold up impeach Clinton next. The Republican era is over for a while and
the reason is one of their own making. They don't behave respectfully. All this ranting
and raving and phony scandals and protests they are making fools of themselves instead
of putting forth alternatives.

I'm not Cliffy, but the short answer is "motion."

There are reams of research on the relative distraction caused by static displays vs. motion. Fascinating reading. You should try it.
