lol That's funny. He converted to Islam? If he didn't, I can imagine at least some Moslems being a bit miffed that he mocked their religious rites by participating. Be kinda like a Satanist praying alongside Catholics in a cathedral, I would think.
Reminds me of a Paul Martin who wanted to visit a southeast Asian area that was hit by a hurricane or tsunami or something to appear to be a kind, caring Canadian type prime minister and yet you could see in his face that his mind was saying, "eewwww Icky. I don't wanna be here".

Re: More Shiny Ponyness!

but I fear him too, i fear him spending like his dad did and digging us in deeper, of course if the senate dies that's more revenue for social programs but I want a balanced budget not deeper debt

Good luck getting that money steered towards anything but a larger trough and fatter piggies.

Is it just me, or are people really giving up on a fair, just , society. ?? Not that I am. Just an observation.

Re: More Shiny Ponyness!

Interesting. I've listened to most of his speeches and I haven't seen any indication that he would overspend. What is frightening is our current federal deficit.

We are TOLD he would overspend. Hear it enough and........................

I'd like to vote for him. The current deficit is a monster, given to us by those fine fiscal managers.

Tory times are tough times. Cripes, ain't we seeing it.

Finger nail art? Watermelons look cool.

it makes my skin crawl
At $6.75 an pound, where is the money from all our change going? Nickles dimes quarters that are made of nickel are being yanked from circulation. Where is that money going? it isn't chump change and it's not going onto the books either.

Worth every penny I'll bet. .
Not really when my losses went to buy new ones. I've probably had to replace at least 5 Donna Summer 45s. At $2.00 a crack in 1978, that's big bucks for a 10 year old.

well, I did see a rainbow t'other day. Pot of gold??

I'd be willing to bet a hunnnndred bucks that none of the miscreant senators, cept the one who actually commited an assault,(alleged?) will ever see the inside of a courtroom, and will never get to spend time in jail.
The payback money is going to be smoke and mirrors.
El Primo never saw a thing.
Senate won't be abolished.
Unemployment will continue to rise.
How ya feel now................................hee hee hee hee;-)
Yer day is ruint. sorry.

I empathize with your brother...when I was around 8 I got a portable record player. Someone donated a whole bunch of old Elvis LP's at some point and there was one with his face on the front cover and it was blue. I must have played that thing day and night over and over and over again. I remember singing my heart out to it. My brother broke it in half and threw it out the door into the snow. :-( I knew I was going to grow up and marry him so it was too traumatic.
