Post #523 tells everyone you are once again wrong.

Tough break T-Bones! Stick to spell checking and you might catch me here and there!

Here I'll make it bigger for you ...

State agencies. By executive order, signed by Governor Deval Patrick, all state agencies must develop and implement affirmative action and diversity plans to identify and eliminate discriminatory barriers in the workplace; remedy the effects of past discriminatory practices; identify, recruit, hire, develop, promote, and retain employees who are members of underrepresented groups; and ensure diversity and equal opportunity in all facets, terms, and conditions of state employment.

Are these underrepresented groups all semites?

Man..........I never thought I would be tuning into Fox in order to hear some voices of reason. The rabidity reigns on CNN and HLN.

Adult mistakes and child mistakes do not hold equal weight, nor do mistakes with fists versus mistakes with guns.

Martin was 17. He lost his childhood status a long time ago.

If you want to run with the fists vs guns scenario; who said this was only a fist fight? For that matter, lying in wait to ambush someone kinda nullifies any expectations that the fight will be strict Marquess Queensberry rules.

Fact is: Martin chose to confront when he had a clear opportunity to escape Zimmerman, that was Martin's choice and his alone.

I was just going to amend my post a tad.................seems Hannity has a few WOO WOOs in his 'studio audience' too.

Sure there will always be some grave-dancers but generally speaking I'm sure most people know (and are happy it's over) that justice was done in court.

It's these dissatisfied customers that piss me off.

To a person, Hannity's audience believes Obama needs to get his face on TV and tell the nation to settle the heck down. He needs to stand by the rule of law. They are furious that he is letting this go on so long and many are worried that it is going to escalate. That Sharpton person is calling for some kind of nation wide Travon Martin day. This is not going to end well.

This is beyond anything about George or Travon or the verdict.............it has taken on a life of it's very own. It's dangerous and scary and I am really glad I live in Canada. The most sickening aspect is how the MSM keeps fueling the fires.

There's lots of wrongs that happened throughout this episode... Zimmerman could have done (or not done) a number of things that would have resulted in Martin being alive today, but that said, Martin ultimately took the last step in engaging a direct confrontation... He too could have avoided this and he'd be around

No winners here, just a big lose-lose situation
Really? I don't blame Martin for beating the sh*t out of Zipperman one bit. If somebody was following me around and confronted me in the night, I'd have done the same.

Shooting Martin was a chicken sh*t lowlife, scumbag thing to do.

Zipperman should have picked himself up and accepted that he got a sh*t kicking from a boy and gone home to lick his wounds like a real man.

Well if that is so, Loc.........then this is one time I really thank the Universe for the internet. Because if they try to rail-road him, at least there will be folks out there who can bring the truth to light.........at least that's the way it would work in my universe.

In the US, 17 is still very much a child. 4 years til they are out from under government control still. And yes.... mistake with fists is still a far cry from mistake with a gun.

I guess that Martin's big mistake was that he didn't beat Zimmerman unconscious before he had a chance to pull the gun.

I'm sure that you've seen it in the bars over the years - some tough guy decides to go toe to toe with someone that he knows nothing about or if they have a knife or 10 buddies to help out.

17 and a child?.. Wow - there is no way that we will ever see eye to eye on that.

Mistakes with fists/guns aside... What about a mistake in terms of confronting Zimmerman in the first place.

The kid was away and within steps of home - yet he chose an alternative option

YES!! Now for the Civil trail.. remember OJ??

Innocent, but sued for millions and lost..

Maybe. The Comedy-Central Judges of Colbert and the standin for Stewart have judged him guilty according to the standards of civilization, let off on a technicality.

I just got an idea...

What if we set up a website where cases are judged according to the legal-structure of various jurisdictions, all the way from Bhutan to Rawanda, and see how the judgements pan out?

You should know that Zimmerman is now guilty not by law but by consensus of social engineers, so we better just move along .......
