If you don't like Harper, you're free to F*CK OFF and move to Greece or France to live.

Hey man, I'm not a slave to anyone/anything, I even quit smoking so why would I F**K off to Greece because of a lousy politician?

Also free to stay and vote the dope out.

Anyway, we've had worse than Harpy.

Trudeau and Mulroney come to mind.-:)

Probably a few more before them although how bad may depend on your political leanings.

Steven Harper exceeded "shelf life".. please tell me what the alternative government or leader plans to do about protecting Canada's northern borders against countries that want to steal our resources??

We've always been more interested in kicking governments/parties out than putting them in.

As for the north - is that really an issue right now? Are the Danish fishing near Baffin Island again?

Well you beat me, I'm trying to kick my Coke habit, down from 3 liters a day to 1 can.. but still get lousy migraines from the lack of caffeine.

Drinking more Aquafina plus+ 10 cal vitamin enhanced water, better than 150 cal can of coke.

Good riddance.

Jealous.. :p

I can still vote in a special ballot for Harper..

That is kinda what the SPP is B00MER. We are already highly integrated. Unlike the EU we have a different currency and the border isn't open. Everything else is in place and has been for quite some time.

Open the border and adopt the Amero. ;)

Seriously, just open the border.. exclude the Mexico and just the USA and Canada adopt a single border around the two countries.

People are afraid of a mass exit from the USA to Canada.. won't happen.. didn't happen in the EU, won't happen here.. maybe Canadains moving to Florida at worst.. dam snow birds.

eh, I'm not a separatist.. I belive in unification.. between Canada and the USA, sorta like the UE.

separatist? I never claimed to be a frog ;)

If you're not an Alberta separatist, I take it back and have fun in Texas. If you are--then the shot and pissed on thing still stands.

What was his "best before" date to begin with?

Crime is already nuts around here. J/K...no, actually I'm not but I doubt 10,000- 20,00 Amricans would change that. Why wouldn't they be coming up here? We need a 150,000 workers in AB and SK alone. Canadians don't want to get off their asses and relocate for these high paying jobs, why wouldn't Americans want them?

No I'm not a separatist period. I have lived in dam near every part of Canada and the ONLY Canada I know and want is a United Canada.

However, I feel that Alberta separatist will seize on the moment if Justine Trudeau is elected to bolster their agenda. He is not liked in Alberta.. at all.

Born in Hamilton, moved to Sudbury, then Beaconsfield, PQ, (Beacon Hill) to Dalhousie, NB to Cornwall, ON.

After Cornwall I travelled to Los Angeles and cross Canada to Calgary and Vancouver many times.. basically foot loose for 10 years.. lived in Windsor for a spell and was married there. 8 months in North Ft. Myers, FL.

I guess I had a travel bug in me and really never settled anywhere for a long time.

The longest place I ever lived was in Texas for 17 years.

Same reason Canadians don't want to get off their asses. You answered your own question..

Maybe some younger adventuresome folks might, which would be great.. but most have family and really don't want to move away from them.

There are plenty of jobs they dont want to do either which is why they have so many illegals working down there.

Harper isnt liked in Quebec at all but his election victories havent brought Quebec any closer to separating. The last time that flared up was when we had a PM from Quebec.

If Trudeau wins and Alberta starts whinning, oh well. Thats the way its always been. No matter who wins any election federally there is always one part or another that isnt happy or is downright pissed off by the results. I liked when McGuinty poked fun at that sort of feeling when Harper won in 2008 saying sarcastically "Ontario wants in!"

It's better to keep your family impoverished than move them to prosperity where they will all thrive?

I can't and won't feel sorry for somebody who won't help themselves.

In Regina alone there is good paying work for 3,000 families.

If somebody is willing to pull up stakes from the other side of the planet to come here for a better life I welcome them with open arms.

The next person that I hear bitch about how hard done by they are, how Muzzies and Chinamen are coming in droves and "took their jobs", they are going to get my boot up their azz.

Im not interested. That would be getting too close. The USA is fun to visit but I have no interest in becoming an American. If the border goes away it will only be a matter of time before that would happen. Im not afraid of a mass exodus of people from here to the US. If people want to leave, go for it. Their life, their choice.
