Harper isnt liked in Quebec at all but his election victories havent brought Quebec any closer to separating. The last time that flared up was when we had a PM from Quebec.

Quebec can't afford to split, not real benefit to it for them..

Alberta can afford to split and would keep all the money sent to Ottawa, so has an incentive.

The next person that I hear bitch about how hard done by they are, how Muzzies and Chinamen are coming in droves and "took their jobs", they are going to get my boot up their azz.

lol

I think we need to allow more Mexicans in.. just say'in. ;)

Yeah, Mexicans aren't afraid of work and they are Catholic and not Muzzie or dirt worshipping heathens.

Alberta can't, not without paying off what the rest of Canada invested into it......just like Quebec.

LOL, I sorta have a lame joke to that.. "If you're flying from New York to Los Angeles, would you rather be sitting next to a Saudi Arabian student with a Student Visa or an illegal Mexican."

I was tired of hearing all the BS about illegals in the USA from FoxNews.. I asked them the same question.. the illegal BS seemed to be ratcheted down.. coincidence or somebody actually read the email and agreed. Who knows, who cares, it's just FoxNews.

FoxNews the right arm of the Republican

MSNBC the right arm of the Democrats

CNN leans a little left of center.

I watch BBC.

The Beeb? It's just as biased and who has the time to search out the neutrals that are far and few in between?

90% of news isn't really news at all and not worth taking in.

What was his "best before" date to begin with?

Crime is already nuts around here. J/K...no, actually I'm not but I doubt 10,000- 20,00 Amricans would change that. Why wouldn't they be coming up here? We need a 150,000 workers in AB and SK alone. Canadians don't want to get off their asses and relocate for these high paying jobs, why wouldn't Americans want them?

People seem less inclined to move these days.

I went to the oil patch for some interviews, but they weren't offering near what I'd heard they were offering. That all turned out to be BS. Their whole job offer came down to "well, it's cheaper to live here." Fort McMoney was barely cheaper than Vancouver. I wasn't going to move out of the paradise of North Van to a hole for less than $20K/year more than what I was already making.

I told them I needed my medical marijuana breaks about three times a day, especially before operating heavy machinery, and they got all pissy.

And the Timmy's didn't even have fair-trade orgabnic coffee.

ha ha ha

Seriously though, I would've moved their but the cake was not as rich as I had been led to believe.

Maybe. Frankly, I think Canada should take the saem road as the US in regards to any splitting. War. Albertans and Quebecers are free to leave. They are not free to take the land with them.

You summed it up nicely. Why bother trying, it just gets in the way of being lazy?

It's cheap to live here? I know people who left here to live in Vancouver because rent is here is insane.

For the price of a sh*tty apartment here, they are living in West End hi-rises there.
