Your salvation is between you and God. I know it will happen, that doesn't mean He can't put you near the end of the line (and all that comes with it).
Mhz is neither Christian, or good.lol Now there's a good Christian attitude.![]()
You fit right in with blind Jews though.Mhz is neither Christian, or good.
I guess that means its between me and myself, which is where it has been all along.Your salvation is between you and God.
Thanks for the faith in me.I know it will happen,
At the end of a line of one? Odd concept.that doesn't mean He can't put you near the end of the line (and all that comes with it).
I noticed you didn't argue with me, lol.You fit right in with blind Jews though.
Did anybody reply to your 'question'? Perhaps no reply means you stand alone when you only think that you have many companions,
Tell me that when the 1,000 years are over.I guess that means its between me and myself, which is where it has been all along.
My faith is in God, just like it is for Jews being gathered as a whole people. Thanks for the faith in me.
It's a group thing, you should at least understand what you are rejecting. Oh wait, if you could understand it you wouldn't reject it.At the end of a line of one? Odd concept.
No, you make that mistake all the time, understanding does not imply either acceptance or agreement. I understand what you're saying alright, but I'm convinced you're wrong, that's all.... if you could understand it you wouldn't reject it.
Um, I'm not that old and besides that I probably will never get to be that old. I wouldn't want to be anyway. Life would become too damn boring for my liking.Tell me that when the 1,000 years are over.
I sympathise. My faith is in God, just like it is for Jews being gathered as a whole people.
You may have something there. Trouble is I never could understand any rational reason why I should believe in things that don't exist. It's a group thing, you should at least understand what you are rejecting. Oh wait, if you could understand it you wouldn't reject it.
“The most common of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind.” -- H. L. Mencken
Gawd Damn! Looks like I started a flame war.
There isn't any fault to not believing the book, that is why there is a few years before the return that allows for some to be offered proof and even those that miss it then are still gathered to God before. In all honesty a person in your position should raed Ge:1-3 and Re:20-22 and leave it at that as everything in between is about the two bruises mentioned in Ge:3:15. Take you all of 10 minutes and you don't even have to ponder what it means.Trouble is I never could understand any rational reason why I should believe in things that don't exist.
In this war verses are what causes the eyes to bleed. You don't know how funny that is to see offered by a gravity model ludite like you Sinister. I think I'll have a drink.hahahahahahahahahahaha
a religious flame war cliffy, the worst kind, I wonder how many posters will be cruxified?
Go for it, have two, or three, you don't need those brain cells anyway, you're clearly not using them. You don't know how funny that is to see offered by a gravity model ludite like you Sinister. I think I'll have a drink.hahahahahahahahahahaha
Were you hoping that your post would be the thread closer?Gawd Damn! Looks like I started a flame war.
Nope. I was just commenting on all the blood letting going on.Were you hoping that your post would be the thread closer?
Nope. I was just commenting on all the blood letting going on.
BTW, Jesus was human and thus had a soul. Christ is a fictional character based on Mithra, Horus and Krishna, so couldn't have a soul.
Both Raptor Jesus and the Flying Spaghetti Monster hold a special place in my heart, but, sorry to burst your bubble, they are both as fictional as the god of the bible.Raptor Jesus frowns upon your lies....
x 50...
just one more argument in stupidity from that troll
If he qualifies for these verse then He has a living soul.
Ge:2:7:
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
Ec:3:20:
All go unto one place; all are of the dust,
and all turn to dust again.
Ec:12:7:
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
I wonder if anyone else besides me finds most of these religious questions absolutely ridiculous.
lol IF the dude existed on the planet at one time, he would long ago have turned into dust, so no, I would say he HAS no soul.
IF there is such a thing as a "soul" (I mean to the extent of some lifeforce rather than a colloquial term for a human being), the probabilities are that it actually is a term for "mind".
But then faith causes minds to breach probabilities and reason to create an awful lot of surreal things.
Kind of renders the whole discussion to be hypothetical, which is what I was basing my comment on.IOW, there are no such things as souls, but if there were, another word for them would be minds.
The New Testament never was a complete document of the truths about the faith.
It was a four part compromise Mathew Mark Luke and John were in a political scrap
for control of the Church and to keep it from coming off the rails they merged the
texts and it shows in many places. In addition there were many other Gospels that
were not made part of it like Timothy and others. The Bible has been written dozens
of times by those who interpreted it differently and those who used it for the own
gain.
The intent is still there but to take all the things literally is a bit of a stretch.
I do agree with those who are saying many of these threads are more for
the purpose of baiting others rather than creating a discussion
