To summarize: Chief Spence was demanding more money from gvt to address the horrendous living conditions in Attawapiskat.... And horrendous, they are, unless you are Chief, her live-in boyfriend or a member of Council.... They all live pretty well
What Spence and her fantasy writers neglected to mention is that the community had received $100 million over the last 10 years for a community of a couple thousand people... What happened to the money you ask?... We don't know; Theresa either never got receipts for the expenditures or lost the rest.
So basically, Spence went on a 40 day diet (Jenny Craig I think) to protest - hoping that no one would notice the $100 million was missing... To cut to the chase in giving you an idea how ridiculous the article posted above was; even the CBC won't backstop this lady.... Even they know that she's nothing more than a low level grifter looking to effect some sleight of hand.
