Well, I was talking about the story. If we realize the story is just an alegory and metaphor, we arrive where you did. For those who believe the story has historical validity, you cannot convince them otherwise and so you must try to work with the story.

But but but Cliffy if we work with the story won't we be deemed retards by God who sure as we're sitting on cheeks is smokin celestial cannabis and laughing his holy **** off. They have drivers licenses you know. We are doomed.

So Jesus did not condemn homosexuality. That is what I see so far on this thread.

I never for a second thought that he did. I think it's sad that some want to use their God to justify their hate. But I suppose that's how some see God.

What I and many have said all along. People misuse Religion and the Religion gets the blame.

You got that right. When Jesus died on the cross didn't he take the punishment for all of us for all our sins? So the debt has been paid!

Yes. I recall a discussion on Original Sin. Back and forth and on and on

Gerry put the nail in that one with - What did Jesus die for. So ended the discussion

He did not die for most sins.

For all sins but except for these ones.

He died for all sins of man.

And as Gerry and others have stated time and time again. It is man misusing Religion in ways that cause wars, death and massacres. That is not what Religion is. But many condemn religious beliefs and use this as an example of what is wrong with religion. It is not what is wrong with Religion, it is what is wrong with man.

Then we have those. Well if God wanted to stop this, or do that he/she would. Again a dumb a/ss argument. God gave man free will. He left it up to each of us. Is that to hard to grasp - for some yes.

If you have no religious beliefs - that is your decision-

If you have religious beliefs - that is your business.

Oh and the other one- Bringing religious beliefs into society etc. Of course people do - same as those without religious beliefs do the same thing. Fact of life.

I'm having a hard time finding a passage in the bible about copping a feel on an undead zombie demon chick.

Is that a no?

Again you lower the bar of reasonable discussion. Yes I know- I will hear that click shortly.

No Gerry asked a clear and concise question. He asked for Chapter and verse in another post he made.
And he is also correct that the world has enough windbag Preachers- of all faiths - and in my opinion that miss the basics and use religion to drive hatred.

Here is the OP

I'm having a problem finding citations from the New Testament where Christ condemned homosexuality. Anyone want to help me out?

So Cannuck Stand up and rebut.Your Reds are a sign of well I will leave it at that

You only think so because you do not understand what reasonable discussion is. Is is quite reasonable to ask - If homosexuality is OK simply because Jesus did not specifically say it is not OK, then are other things OK simply because Jesus did not specifically say they aren't OK?

Somebody interested in reasonable discussion might be interested in answering that question. I'm really not surprised you have avoided it.

I believe the Big Ten covers that. But you are not here for reasonable discussion. That has been shown time and again.

I know it, you know it, many know it.
