From what I've read, every one of your posts has been pro Republican, anti Democrat, so I can only conclude that you are VERY selective in what you choose to pass on. I conclude it's you who is wearing "rose coloured glasses".

I don't have rose colored glasses. The economy is a mess. How is that having rose colored glasses?

From reading your many posts I can only conclude that being right (take that as you want) is more important to you than the state of the economy. (About 95% of the state of the economy has very little to do with partisan politics)

I'm not sure what you mean with the being right observation. I know our economy is stagnant. I know that the Dems are saying everything is wonderful. They've got an election to win and they feel that lying is part of winning.

I think things were great when Clinton was around and I wish they were the same. Obama is no Clinton. IMO he is so incompetent as our President. I want a new one. I do not know if I am going to get one. I am not one of those who's saying it is in the bag for either one. We shall see.

Yep, Clinton was good...........things were going his way. He wasn't engaged in any wars, he didn't have to contend with the ramifications of 9/11. He didn't have the burden of Katrina to contend with. The burning question now would be how would Clinton manage contending with the 21st Century?

Slick Willy would have gone down as one of the great presidents if he could have only kept his zipper shut.

Why did the Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted's office, in an end run around Ohio election law, have "experimental" software patches installed on vote counting tabulators in up to 39 Ohio counties? Voting rights activists are concerned that these uncertified and untested software patches may alter the election results.

During the 2004 presidential election, the Free Press reported that election officials observed technicians from the ES&S voting machine company and Triad computer maintenance company installing uncertified and untested software patches on voting machines in 44 Ohio counties prior to the election. Software patches are usually installed to "update" or change existing software. These software patch updates were considered suspect by election protection activists, in light of all the voting machine anomalies found during the 2004 election in Ohio.

The Free Press has learned that Election Systems and Solutions (ES&S) installed the software patches that will affect 4,041,056 registered voters, including those in metropolitan Columbus and Cleveland

Government reports such as Ohio's Everest study document that any single change to the system could corrupt the whole voting process.

I would imagine the conservative controlled supreme court will shut down any legitimate challenge to the election results like they did in 2000. My surprise is that anyone would do anything that could call into question the validity of the voting process. If I were in charge in Ohio those machines would be in the trash or at least back in the closet and paper ballots would be ready for election day. Why take the chance unless you are a complete moron.

At 9am Election Day, a federal judge will decide whether untested and uncertified secret software will remain on Ohio’s vote tabulation and reporting systems in 39 counties. Bob Fitrakis, in his capacity as the Chair of the Ohio Green Party, filed suit at approximately 12:30pm on Monday, November 5 against Ohio Secretary of State John Husted and Elections Systems and Solutions for their clandestine installation of uncertified and untested software. Judge Frost, U.S. District Court Southern District Court of Ohio, agreed to the hearing to be held Tuesday, November 6.

The suit seeks immediate the injunctive relief of removing the untested, uncertified software from all county tabulators.

It would seem to me that because Romney owns the voting machines in Ohio he would want to be positive that they work properly. Mostly because if by some miricle he wins he would NOT want to be the first prez to loose the presidency when massive vote fraud is proved. This would make Watergate look like a school yard prank. Many of his backers OTH might not have the necessary IQ to think this through.

This is going nowhere. They would leave too many voters out of the process. This should have been filed weeks ago. There is nothing in place to replace the machines now. Any challenge going anywhere will be post election.
