Sure, the Israelis have set up concentration camps and have perfected an industrial process to systematically round up and exterminate Palestinians by the millions, and in the meantime use them as slaves in their factories. Get a grip.

Not reporting all the death and destruction that Israel has rained on Palestinians before Palestinian militants launched their latest salvo of rockets at Israel is selective truth propaganda.
Ummm...

Maybe ethnically cleansing an area of non-Jews to make way for Jewish only colonies over the ashes of destroyed Arab villages wasn't such a good idea in the first place. Who'd have thought the millions of oppressed who lost everything would fight back against this fundamental injustice???

That said, firing rockets at civilian targets is a war crime. But cleansing a region of most of its people because they are the wrong religion is a crime against humanity. Israelis will have peace when the people they oppress have freedom and justice. But since Israelis aren't finished taking their land and enclosing millions of displaced people behind walls, razor wire and guard towers, the people who have no freedom, no nationality and no rights are going to resist. Some will commit violent war crimes, like firing rockets and mortars at Israeli civilians, but others resist non-violently like the weekly protests at the work site of shame:

Broken Lives and Families in Bil'in
Oct 16th, 2012

"Bil'in is a Palestinian village….struggling to exist," says its web site (bilin-village.org).

It's "fighting to safeguard its land, its olive trees, its resources….its liberty."

Israel stole around 60% of its land for settlement expansions and Separation Wall construction. Residents are being "strangl(ed)." Every day more is taken. Palestinians are left inside an "open air prison."

Each Friday, Israeli and international activists demonstrate supportively with Palestinians who want their land and homes preserved. They gather in front of
the "work-site of shame."

Israel responds violently. Physical and psychological methods are used. Residents manage best they can. Injustice is horrific. Daily raids and arrests are made. Village leaders are especially vulnerable.

At issue is terrorizing people into submission. Courageously they refuse to go away and disappear.

"By supporting Bil’in, you will help its inhabitants to continue their struggle and maintain hope in their fight for liberty. (Their) site is dedicated to all people of good will - Palestinian, Israeli and the internationals who fight side by side against the injustices endured by" courageous people who won't yield to oppression.

What's happening in Bil'in occurs throughout Palestine..

Who would have thought that the violence, ethnic cleansing, injustice and oppression that Palestinians suffer on a daily basis would lead to some of them to commit war crimes? (sarcasm alert)

Not reporting the events that precipitated Israeli reprisals is selective truth propaganda.

I'm not surprised to see you using that tactic.

Many levels of injustice and oppression exist.

The persecution of Jews, Roma, Slavs, Blacks, Jehovah Witnesses was far more extreme under the Nazis than the persecution of Palestinians under Zionism. But unlike the holocaust which is a historical injustice that few people alive experienced personally, the Zionist persecution of Palestinians is a current problem which has existed for over 60 years, has no end in sight and is supported by the Harper government.

What does "Never again" mean to you? Does it apply only to the persecution of Jews or does it apply to anyone who has lost their rights and freedoms because they are the wrong race/religion/ethnic group?

You forgot bloodthirsty, hateful, bigoted, religious zealots, with a Charter that expresses the wish to terminate the Jews and Israel.

Yes, this is actually happening more or less.
No it isn't.

Stop being silly.

Go to Gaza than maybe your opinion will have some sort of value.

You'll probably be shocked to find which is most dangerous to you is actually not Hamas or anyone on the Palestinian side but the Israeli's.

You've never been there, I've been in the region, not that that has any bearing on the facts.

You have no idea of what Gaza looks like today.

Here's an example from June of this year.

Oh stop beingt silly, Hamas and a fair portion of Palestinians would want to tear me apart with their bare hands. For the same reasons EAO, DB, you and the rest of the Usual Suspects cry about me, I have a low tolerance for stupidity.

What I find interesting right from the start of this is that some are saying Israel is fighting
a battle of conquest. Really if that were true Israel would occupy Iran by now. In the
Six Day War there was an old joke that nearly came true, See the Pyramids Visit Israel.
All of the Arab nations have attacked Israel to destroy it by force and still people are saying
Israel is the aggressor.
Yes Israel carved our a position for themselves in a civil and very uncivil fashion but hey,
they won. The problem is the Arabs stole Palestine from them a few thousand years ago
and remember this is an on going fight that has never really ended. Neither side, Neither side
has behaved in a civilized fashion at times and to point fingers at one or the other can't be
a demonstration of fact.
The real problem is the Palestinians, they are the targets of both Israel and the Arab States.
First Israel does not want them to be a powerful neighbour and secondly the Arabs want them
to remain refugees so they can call Israel names and they can still claim to someday be their
liberators.
I have issues with Israel yes, but I have a lot more issues with the behavior of the Arab States.

Oh the horror.

You can probably show a video of selected areas in Chechnya that could make it look like a tourist destination.

For what reason?

The fact that you don't think this is true shows how little you actually know about what's going on in Gaza.

Nope. You really should learn how to read and or comprehend what is written.
No, it's exactly what you said. "Palestinians would rip me up with their bare hands because I have a low tolerance for stupidity" lol. Not sure you're actually being genuine, if it was actually true you would have bashed your own face into the mirror repeatedly.

The comparison of Israel with Nazis is grotesque. Suppose things were the other way around, Gaza was a small enclave of Jews in a territory occupied and surrounded by a Palestinian state with a thousand times their military strength, and they were lobbing rockets and bombs out indiscriminately. They'd have been bombed back to the Stone Age in a week. That's what Nazis would have done.

You never miss a chance to denigrate superstition but you freely practice the art making ignorant predictions about a non existent times and places. The Israelis are welcome to your approval for all the good it will do them.

Trivia questions regarding Israel

1) Did Zionists commit the Deir Yassin massacre (slaughter an entire village of mostly unarmed women and children) before or after Israel declared independence in 1948?

2) In the 6 day war, which side attacked the other first without warning?

3) What is the nationality of people living in the West Bank and Gaza?

Answers:

1) The Deir Yassin massacre on April 9, 1948 was the most horrific of a series of attacks that were carried out with the sole purpose of depopulating Palestine of Palestinians. The Zionists declared independence on May 14th a month after Deir Yassin, long after Zionists had started their ethnic cleansing war against mostly unarmed Palestinian civilians. Israel's Arab neighbors probably would have intervened earlier, but until Israel declared independence, sending troops into Palestinian would have meant starting a war with the British as Palestine was a British Protectorate. .

2) The Six Day War began on June 5, 1967 with Israel launching surprise bombing raids against Egyptian air-fields.

3) The only people who have a UN recognized nationality in the West Bank are about half a million Israelis living in Jewish only colonies. The nearly 4 million Palestinians living in the West Bank have no UN recognized nationality. The US vetoes Palestinian attempts to get UN recognition. Also Israel continues to expand their Jewish only colonies in the West Bank even though this activity is a violation of international law and many UN Security Council resolutions.

And how well were Jews treated in Arab countries prior to 1935 - how well were Jews treated after Israel as was their right became independent.

There is no shortage of Arab Jews (real Semites). After Judea was eiminated 2000 years ago, there was no choice but live in Arab countries.

What religion did they practise from Solomon back to Abraham if there was no Judea and no Judaism?
