In my opinion Joe gave us another demonstration of what he is best at. He Opens mouth, inserts foot and never moves a muscle while seated. He is just brimming over with numbers and information. Much of which can't be verified and other subject to personal interpretation. But he shouldn't worry. With talent like that the Circus always has room for his talents. Ryan did his best to keep from laughing too. Lets wait and see who gets sworn in on Jan. 21, 2013. I think big surprises are in store.

Not to anyone who knows the ways of politics. Probably the most fickle of all man's endeavours!

I won't be surprised when election results confirm that a majority of people can be convinced to vote against their own interests and in favor of making themselves poorer and more desperate. Its a re-occurring theme.

President Romney and a Republican controlled congress would result in policies which would make the desperately poor, poorer and more desperate. The result will be a trend toward increased poverty, while the uber wealthy get wealthier. A continuation of the ongoing wealth transfer from the poor and middle class towards the very wealthy 3%. The resulting instability and unrest will force the wealthy to continue to retreat behind their gates and inside their private clubs for safety reasons.

You may want to sit down for this EAO - the US is trillions in debt and as Obama carves more off the middle classes income (and high net worth folks), they will not only be kicked down into a lower income class; thus start contributing less taxes, but also consuming more gvt freebies.

The wealthy corps and individuals will move offshore - just like Haliburton and Invesco.

Whoever is left are the ones that will be forced to pay for the debt - meaning, the poor.

I'm getting confused, people have been telling me that young George was responsible for all the debt, others tell me it's the likes of Freddy, Fanny and Wall Street and now you are telling us it's Obama. So which way is it. You know, C.M. I have to keep beating myself upside the head to remind me that you are NOT Yukon Jack......................................Or are you? Same philosophy, same suave disposition!

I wouldn't make that assumption. I hope Obama wins, but even I admitted that Romney beat Obama in their first debate. I just didn't think it would make as big a difference as it did:

What assumption?

I'm given this one to Biden by a hair.
Which proves my point. Even though he acted like the drunk at the end of the bar that is just loud and obnoxious... you give him the win for that.

Yes he was rude and that will make him less liked, but that won't matter as most people like Obama.
Still buying that?

Here's one... most people like the U.S.

President Romney and a Republican controlled congress would result in policies which would make the desperately poor, poorer and more desperate.

Our desperate poor... LMAO. We have the fattest most well cared for "poor" in the world. It is a career choice for many. Why work when you can live pretty comfortably for nothing? Why struggle when you can have EVERYTHING handed to you? You gotta love "poor" people being interviewed in their living rooms with a 92" LCD TV in the background.

I see it all the time. "Poor" people waddling through the lines with grocery carts jammed with whatever they desire and all paid for by those that work.

Massachusetts Welfare cards are being used as far away as Hawaii. Oh how I love subsidizing "poor" people's Hawaiian vacations.

Oh please. Give it a rest with your idiotic apocalyptic predictions.

I could see how an Obama fan would wear the blinders when it came to what Obama added to the debt and still want to blame others.

Clearer now?

... but I still think Romney will beat Obama. Romney is more polished than Obama. It might have something to do with a year of Republican leadership debates.
It has to do with intellect and intelligence level.

Has anyone noted that Ryan states that the 20 % tax cuts can be done.

Biden stated it could not be done. Ryan swore that it could. Who is right.

Did anyone note Ryan stating Iran has enough fissile material for 5 nuclear bombs.

Biden stated they do not have a delivery system.

Also the recent IAEA report states that Iran has diverted 20 % enriched uranium to conversion for medical isotopes.

Just askin ya know.

Poverty has increased to 15% under Obama. Greatest since records have been kept.

As they did in '08.

For those that slammed Biden for his debate- as noted by many - that is him - real life.
Ryan looked robotic to say the least.
And when he looked into the cameras for the TY audience, what did you see.

Biden stated it could not be done. Ryan swore that it could. Who is right.
Both men were playing with numbers.
Did anyone note Ryan stating Iran has enough fissile material for 5 nuclear bombs.
Ryan was wrong.
An@lysts believe Iran has enough uranium for one to three bombs but only after proper processing. The Institute for Science and International Security says that Iran has not enriched that material to the level needed for a single nuclear weapon, let alone five

Biden stated they do not have a delivery system.

No doubt. Biden is a sarcastic pompous (insert bad word). I remember him acting like a buffoon during the Clarence Thomas hearings.

I just saw a guy who was better prepared and far more professional.

Looked after that bad word for ya.
What I saw was Ryan stating positions that were not credible. Noted in my earlier post. But overall he did well. Still young and he will be a contender.

I know that this is splitting hairs, but you have to really define the 20% tax cut. I am not clear on the package the Ryan spoke of, but I highly doubt that it would be a 20% across the board cut.

One thing that you have to remember though, is that the 3% high income earners that Biden spoke of likely contribute the majority of the income tax into the system, especially considering that a large percentage of the working US population don't pay federal taxes (ie too low an income of low enough that the rebates counter the taxes paid).

Biden severely over simplified the situation and is engaging a classic divide-and-conquer strategy

I don't think that anyone really knows if Iran has a delivery system available, but it wouldn't be too hard to use a commercial jet-liner with a suicide crew in a pinch

Ahhh thank you. Not quite the word I was thinking about but it got me to laugh.

Well you either want Obama or Romney.

The new tactic that the Dems are using after a butt kick are simply... "they lied".

I am sure most people who are intent on voting November 6 know who they are voting for by now.

From what I can see - the tax cuts - do not add up- Syria- Romney would supply arms- problem is who are not Islamist fanatics -and who would not continue with ethnic cleansing.
Afghanistan- they criticize Obama but they have a similar policy - like Biden stated- time for the Afghans to step up- Myself I see the Taliban eventually gaining control.

Iran- The sanctions are working- the house has a tougher bill that they can pass.
Lots of independents- waiting for the next 2 debates.

Both Ryan and Biden did the job they were tasked with- invigorate their supporters.
