C'mon, its not glued together like other paper bags... it has metal pins on the bottom and a cool brand name. That paper bag is definitely not for the recycle bin.

(sarcasm alert)
I have to do this or else some people will think the above remark was serious

It wasn't the bag they were buying with the $290, it was the $290 worth of crack that was nestled inside.;)

There is, of course, a very special place in hell for any human that bought a $300 paper bag.

Maybe it has stitched seams.

Anyway, I'd rather see people, with that much money, spending it rather than sitting on it. It stimulates the economy!

Stupid people would be the ones who don't have that much money and yet will buy one of these in trying to emulate the rich, imo.

Yah,I have a friend here in Canada that has to pick bottles and fund raise for her double lung transplant.

I just shake my head sometimes at the world and what it has become.

? Why? I've seen people go through organ transplants here and not have to pay a dime. Is it her surgery she's got to pay for? Or her meds?

I would imagine when a person undergoes open heart surgery, the operation and meds are just the tip of the ice berg as far as expenses go. There could be transportation costs, costs for accommodations during recover, costs associated with care of and maintenance of your home while you are away, probably some restaurant meals, long distance phone calls etc. etc. etc.
