And BC.
And now their creeping up to PC support in Ontario, Sask and Manitoba.
By comparison, the only spot where Harper has solid support is in Alberta - which is probably why he thinks Calgary is the best city in the world and Redford is being primed as his replacement.
I will be extremely surprised if Ontario actually votes NDP ever. Bob Rae still resonates strongly in these parts. Even the Liberals know this.

The one sticking point is the Liberal federal leadership race. If they don't pick an instant winner, you will see a shift in support to the NDP from most of their camp.
Canadians have made it clear that a communist state is not what they want in Canada.

The polls dont seem to be taking the 30 new ridings which will be around in 2015. I imagine that'd change the outcome.

I think it's getting to be a tough job to find anyone who tongues both political and non-foot-magnetic....
I think that is why the Liberals are holding off on electing a leader until ext spring. Just soon enough for him/her to be a fresh smile but not long enough to collect any inconvenient baggage or suffer too severe a case of foot in mouth.
