Equipment sent includes almost eight kilometres of floodbarriers, five automated sandbagging machines and pumps.
Government Relations Minister Jim Reiter says Saskatchewan has a lotof equipment on hand from its own flood-fighting efforts in 2010 and 2011. Saskatchewan,B.C. and other provinces and territories have had an agreement since January toshare resources in times of emergency. It's the first time Saskatchewanhas sent assistance under the agreement.”
