Actually, it was more or less a jibe, a joke about his middle name.......let me be perfectly clear (in the words of an ex-President) I am NOT a crook, and I do NOT believe Obama is a Muslim.
The reference, had you been inside my head, was inspired by John McCain's principled refusal to allow his campaign to refer to Obama as "Barak Hussein Obama"............and the absolute disaster for the USA that McCain's defeat entailed.

Indeed principled campaigns seem to have no place in the US.
I doubt a McCain win would have made much of a difference to the US economy or the wars.

PGS labelling right wing extreemist Christians, and others of faith, Tea Bag folks and
all of the left wing wack jobs in one article demonstrates I dislike them all equally. I did
point out that this idiot if he was of the left was no different from the rest. And no when
one is making a point of comparison it is different than saying one is better than the other
because they are in fact all extremists of the same ilk just on different sides of an imaginary
fence.
The vast majority of Christians and other faiths are fine people, fiscal conservatives have
some very good points, there are a lot of liberal minded people with things to contribute.
Its when people like the above example and the Tea Bag folks who are radical and
uncompromising, or the extreme faith base social conservatives, the ideologue lefties and
others go over the top no it does not demean one at all to point out they are idiots with an
agenda of self in mind first and to hell with everyone else in a society.
When people left or right behave in such a manner, they are an afront to democracy and
it should be pointed out. I am a person who is right wing on some issues and left on others
because life is neither one way or the other, each situation is different.
I find regardless of which side these folks are on they come under the Saying of John Kennedy
