There is a difference between the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street groups in fact
there is more than one difference.
First the Tea Party is managed and driven in the background by wealthy people with a
specific agenda. Their rabble is on the front line spouting rhetoric that they scarcely
know what it means. Big Oil is behind the Tea Party movement and they recruit those
who have lost their dreams to do their bidding. It will be some time down the road before
they know what they have done.
The Occupy Wall Street group are in fact a disorganized group of rabble that believe if they
curb the wealthy they will begin to realize their dreams coming back through government
legislation.
The common thread is, in the eyes of the vast majority on both sides of the equation is that
both groups are entrenched rabble, with a distorted view of the past, present and future. In
the end the occupy wall street group will be around a lot longer than the Tea Party.
Don't think so? The Tea Party is hard hitting in your face action without regard for anyone
who is not on their side. That wears well, for a short time and then they become more and
more divided. Four years from now this group will be reviled, because they have promised
a quick solution, and harsh measures. Every one knows the world is not made up of quick
solutions and all solutions have casualties.
Ah, the Occupy Wall Street crowd. They have an identified enemy, right or wrong this enemy
we can all relate to. Instead of creating a system where everyone can take part to building a
better tomorrow, they are going to first punish those rich people the Wall Street Crowd. They
are disorganized right now but soon the real face of this movement will show up. Those who
once collected money for saving the whales, the environment and a host of other causes.
They will convince the world that we have to curb the wealth of the world and use the money
for you guessed it, Saving the Whales, the Environment and a host of other causes.
Don't get me wrong here, I support some of what they are saying. We do need to bring back
sane regulations so big banks, mortgage companies and so on are made to be responsible.
It is obvious they won't behave properly on their own. The worst thing that can be done is
discouraging people from making a fortune, with a great idea. To destroy someone Else's dream
to satisfy your own dream will not work and has never worked throughout history.
One group wants the world to do their bidding to protect their wealth and position, that being the
real face behind the Tea Party. The other group believes in fencing in those who are trying to
create wealth, and they will stifle the dream of the inventor and investor in the hope they can
even the economic playing field and create some kind of grand utopia.
Here are the facts, as I see them. Occupy Wall Street will gain momentum as time goes on as
these people are better grass roots organizers and have demonstrated that over the past four
decades. The Tea Party will be labelled, branded defined and destroyed in the long run. This
of course will cause Occupy Wall Street to implode like all the other causes and you and I will
be worse off for it.
Both sides of society need each other. One is needed to create dreams, Ideas and Wealth, with
opportunities for all. The other side is needed to remind everyone in our society that we need to
pay attention to the human condition, and with wealth and opportunities there must be a benefit
for all or their will be consequences. What are the consequences? well organizations like the
Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street Movements. Yes we are back to the beginning because
we have a divided society right now in which Fear is the prime motivator.
The rich are in fear of losing their wealth and status and the poor fear going back to pre WWII
conditions.
The reason they are in fear of course is both sides of society, lived too high, they both got greedy
and all are feeling entitled to the wealth of the nation and that wealth has already been consumed
and everyone has to get back to work to rebuild it. I am on neither side, as I realize it takes both
sides to get us back to building a functioning society again.
